    Highlight of the season.

I can't be the only one to have taken some home. One for the museum.

Yeah, I stuffed a bit into my back pocket. Got to say, it was a very comfortable journey home.

Genuine, proper laughter at that. Highlight of a worthless season!

Hopefully that will have knocked the stuffing out of Meire and she'll bugger off now.

A watershed moment akin to when the yanks pulled down the statute of Saddam in Baghdad.

Don't say that! It didn't turn out all rosy there ad!

Although if hanging that decrepit old nonce Duchatelet is an option.....

Highlight of the day seeing the symbol of the hated Duchatelet regime torn to pieces.

It wasn't the sofa's fault. The players it had atound it left it out of position. Typical boo boys taking out their malice on the wrong target.

Ps it took me 6 minutes to stop laughing after seeing the video. I didn't expect anything on the pitch to make me laugh with this regime.

I hope the hooligans who did that to the sofa are happy. Katrien was relying on the change down the back of the cushions to fund next season's promotion push.

My favourite part of a special, special day.

Got rid of the bastard thing at last.
  • What actually happened? Did the fans invade the pitch and some took it upon themselves to grab it and rip it to shreds? Was it a pre-planned thing?

Unfortunately I've been travelling most of the day (work related) so haven't really kept up with all the events.

It's ironic given we've been relegated that the cushions appear to have been filled with synthetic material rather than down.

Seemed a spontaneous action by some fans from my perspective.

Stewards desparate to protect it and rough up some people.

Lifer who instigated action was escorted off pitch by police but not arrested as some have rumoured.

Body of sofa survived but cushions are no more. RIP.

A gesture of course but a highly symbolic one that cheered a lot of people.

Hmmmm, I saw a bloke sitting in it quite comfortably 5 seconds before it was dragged onto the pitch, he didn't look a troublemaker at all.

    Haha.
If anyone can get a sofa stuffed on the cheap it's Latrien.
