He was shit anyway, I would have swapped him for a new sofa!5

Always thought the nonsense about him not caring last year was overplayed, will be a huge but inevitable miss.9

“It’s fantastic to be here. It’s a club that’s shown a lot of interest in me and I’m really happy to come and play for Burnley,” Gudmundsson said.
Hmm, I might beg to differ on that front, there was definitely a comedown from his first season
“It was a good season for myself, unfortunately not for Charlton and then we had a good Euros for Iceland.6 -
Lazy, overrated network player. Got found out last season. No pace or right foot.
Is that what we're supposed to say now?11 -
My son is quite upset. He doesn't understand why we are selling all our best players.1
-
but surely we should keep them dad so they can help us go straight back up. Won't we need them next year in the championship dad?3

Top assist maker in the Championship. So can't really say he had a bad season.killerandflash said:“It’s fantastic to be here. It’s a club that’s shown a lot of interest in me and I’m really happy to come and play for Burnley,” Gudmundsson said.

He got the most assists in the whole league playing in a shite team with strikers that couldn't score; I'd say that was a good season.8 - Sponsored links:

his free kicks went to pot last season, but still probably the best player we had along with Cousins.............

Wow, where did that transfer come from?4
-
If it wasn't for the fact that he looked a bit disinterested in games and uptight with the fans he would have won POTY last season.5
-
I'm outraged and surprised that JBG has quit. I thought he would be one of the ones who stayed. What one earth would possess him to go and play at Burnley?0

nothing cryptic about that message to Katie.SELR_addicks said:11 -
Classy player, but switched off when things were not going right and went totally AWOL as soon as Iceland qualified for the Euros.1

Every player leaving seems to have a very sly well worded dig at the owners in the form of siding with the fans as they know what we are fighting for is something they would too - as a football fan.
If you can't see the problem then look into the inside, all players see it too - just some choose to stay quiet as it's their job and welfare.5 -
The assist King. That cross for Iceland's opening goal in the euros sealed his step up to the Premier League. Wish him luck. Won me quite a few good bets.0

Tell him they aren't good enough, they got relegated and that is a good lesson for him to remember, he will always come up against other kids that people and his teachers think have more talent than him but just having that talent doesn't make the other kid a winner or better than him.Alwaysneil said:My son is quite upset. Russell's a new start down the right road and he needs to clear out the place and build his own team, not make do with the patchwork of the multiple managerial signings of the last couple of years.1 -
Nice sly dig at the owners on Twitter, like it.
Good luck JBG6 - Sponsored links:

i dont think he was giving 100% a lot last year but his 75% was 70% better than most of the trash served up by others. Has the potential to be very very good with some class around him----good luck JBG2

Good luck Johann!0

Everybody going about selling our top players cheap......
We finished 3rd from bottom nine points adrift and I cannot pinpoint 1 rousing defiant we will not get relegated performance.
I'm really not fussed about any of em going the more the better5 -
Remember what he was promised when signing a contract as well10
-
Thank god he signed that Contract else he'd have left for nothing this summer and would have made re-building very difficultWSS said:Remember what he was promised when signing a contract as well

Another undisclosed fee...well what a surprise!!0
-
Top player, nothing but best wishes from me, didn't score as many last season in a struggling team but top assists in the league is no mean feat. Doesn't wear his heart on his sleeve at all times and I feel some people are put off by that but if he was an academy player he would have walked POTY.
All the best Johann4 -
Find me a deal within the Football League that isnt undisclosed?3

Haha, I told him that both cousins and JBG were really good players for the championship and both put in some graft for the team but neither wanted to play in a lower league to try and get us back up.
They both have short careers to manage and they can't take a chance on Roland and Katrien getting it right this turn out.
So we will sell and start again and hopefully pick up a gem or two in the way to replace those we have lost.
