As has been said many times, I genuinely believe that KR has done it to say to the press, the fans and Roland, look I have a small squad and I cant even fill the benchkillerandflash said:I really don't see why Hanlan or Lapslie couldn't have been on the bench on Saturday

Lapsie is miles off being ready. I want to like the lad, but his few first team appearances have scared me.killerandflash said:I really don't see why Hanlan or Lapslie couldn't have been on the bench on Saturday

Agreed, unfortunately the game turned in Blackpool's favour, when Lapslie came on and continuously lost the ball.PopIcon said:

Scott Parker started like that - went to Norwich on loan and returned a new man. Sometimes the only way to get experience is to get thrown in at the deep endCovered End said:

If 3 players had gone off injured by the 80 minute mark, I'd rather have options on the bench to bring on than either nobody or injured/unfit players. If JFC had been forced to come on, got injured and been out for a month it would have been ridiculousPopIcon said:

He was like an enthusiastic sheep without a head. It was clear he wanted to play, but needs experience.Covered End said:

Went there this afternoon, from the gate to the changing room the whole area is a swamp, the pitches seem to drain better than the surrounding areas, the referee made 2 inspections but there was too much laying water on the pitch.Covered End said:Was this postponed game at home ? I cannot see what work has gone on in the last 3 years & the training ground is in worse state than when we moved in 30 odd years ago.
Thanks Roland.12 -

Good point well made. Send George on loan then0 -
A training ground like a swamp is perhaps a fitting epitaph to the RD eraclive said:

One year on, and all that Lookman money on the training ground where the only videos were about drainage and trenches.
Very low grade lies.5 -
Personally, I'd rather use the word "bog" to describe it, @killerandflash .killerandflash said:
