On a personal note Manish lives just outside Swindon and my sister works with his wife. She met him a few weeks ago at a BBQ and she mentioned to him that her brother and sister in law were both Charlton season ticket holders. He said that he had a lot of time for Charlton. He thought that they were a super club, and what the owners were doing there was terrible. Ho hoped that we would sort all of the problems out, and return to how we was.

2 b's @Leuth - Henry Irving has a lot to answer for
Yes it hit me hard seeing the old team disbanded. Manish no longer walking across that gantry, telling us we were about to see 683 goals, 12 red cards and 6 six corners on tonight's football league show. I'd missed Claridge's 654 app 180 goals stat and the fact he'd played for every club in the football league. I missed the way leroy sipped his tea.
What was he like? The consummate professional I imagine
