It's a bowlplex mate. Ten pin bowling etc with TVs and a big bar area. You can have a sesh in there and then be in your seat in the ground two minutes later.

That is handy to know, if the game is s*** I can sling you a few bowls down and pretend the pins are squirrel face.
Lived very near Oxford 92-95. Eldest was born in John Radcliffe hospital. Cracking city and I envy those of you making a weekend of it. Left it too late to get a ticket and am not hp at all (my fault). Still, after last night's fog laden drive back to Norwich from Scunthorpe not sure I'd manage another long trek so soon.
Oxford here in peace... Looking forward to the game. A few pointers for you which might help your day go smoothly. You can get a number 5 bus (they are usually bloody pink for some reason!) from the station to blackbird leys. Then it's a two minute walk to the ground. It takes around 25-30 mins and it will be busy with shoppers as well as football fans. You will share the North stand with Oxford who will have approx 2/3 of it. It's a cracking view of the pitch tbh. If you want a beer before the game go down George St, wetherspoons for breakfast and plenty of other bars along there. If you want a drink near the ground there is a bar and a frankie and bennies behind the open end car park. more than likely you will be kept in by the OB after so allow for that with your train times and the buses back to town will be rammed after as well. Hope this little lot helps, see you Saturday.
What is s the situation with getting out of the car parks after the game ? I've heard it's a nightmare.
Certainly is. If you arrive early (11am early) you can park near the exits or on the approach road to the ground. As you may know we are now located in the less desirable end of the city, Blackbird Leys was the twoking capital of the UK for a while. Its now got more speedramps than MK has roundabouts. Parts of BBLeys are a residents CPZ but not all of it...Google is your friend for a map. Enjoy the city & some decent pubs. Yellows has covered the rest. Think many of us retain a soft spot for Charlton after our pseudo promotion party at the Valley many years ago. Safe journeys folks.

Ah jesus, it could well get to that.
If I get in I will hunt you down funny man and scream "We want Roland out" in your face!
Probably a silly question, but why didn't you buy a ticket ?
People will say this is my own fault.
I am not a season ticket holder, I will not go through the online thingy, friends had said they will buy one but do not want them to pay any surcharge.
As a consequence I was going to go in the Oxford end, no problem I thought.
Looks like I will have to try and get an Oxford fan get me one, say I am a neutral doing a new ground!

2 driving from Orpington.
3 going by train from 3 different areas
1 by CAS Trust coach from Charlton.
If, as I suspect it will be a case of sit in your ticketed seats, PLEASE be mindful of those unable to stand, of which we have 2 in our group.
Thanks, guys.
