  • Bought tickets for this just yesterday. Hope it's a Saturday or I'll be getting a refund. Week nights are a no go for me.
  • Gutted.

I had a nawwwty little firm in place for this one planning to take beef to Bermondsey.

Half of us are on tag and the other half at evening school, so we won't be able to make a midweek game.

    Lucky escape Millwall

Thank god. I can go now.

Waiting for us both to be knocked out of FA Cup in the 1st round, so they can get a Saturday fixture.

I believe the second and third rounds of the cup already have fixtures on them. I think Sheffield Utd is one of them. In the unlikely event we get past the first round those games would have to be rescheduled too.

2nd round proper is scheduled for 3rd December, which is clear.

Sheff U is the week before. 3rd round day currently has Rochdale away in.

Was always likely. Would be weird to have the derby on a Tuesday night, although my first Charlton game was home to Palace on a Tuesday night and that ended brilliantly with two Luke Varney goals (collectors items at the time).

    Friday night that was.
That's it! I think I'd been to see Capello's first England game at Wembley on the Tuesday. Or maybe that was the Tuesday following...To be fair, I'd been drinking and there was a man dressed as banana man behind me. Nonetheless, good times.
I booked half day playing Pro evolution drinking games and ended up falling asleep next to a speaker at the Venue. Great times.
Fell asleep, standing up, at the bar next to a speaker in some bloody loud pub/club place after the last game at Bolton's old ground (Kins' screamer, lost 4-1).

    It's a gift!!
I'm good at it, that night my mate pulled basically because of taking the michael out of me. Done it on a stag do in Brighton before and apparently I was considerate enough to fall asleep in the eye line of my mates so they knew I was alright. Would like to think now I'm in my 30's I'd have matured a little and learned to take it easy but night out followed by early train to Oxford Saturday will probably confirm that's not the case.

Still being shown as being played on 8th October on OS fixture list, when you click on tickets button, it takes you to tickets information page where it states that tickets are on restricted sale, and that due to possible international call ups the fixture may be postponed.
  • why worry well lose anyway just play the fixture

You would have if we'd played on the 8th, of that I'm almost certain. We'll have sorted ourselves out by the time the game is rescheduled.

I think you were right last time, some how or other we will both contrive to lose
  • Am I right in saying the last time we played them mid week at The New Den was the last time we won there

Was chatting to a Spanner last night in the pub - he thought they are so poor in defence we would have won on the 8th. That said we don't score many and they do and they have a strong midfield.

and of course there's some ancient curse laid on teams from mainland South East London when they cross over to Bermondsey ;)

I was worried about the 8th as we are playing poorly. Not sure how we're going to sort the defence out though.

You need to convince the other supporters to lay of abusing Tony Craig.

Your lot are always playing poorly or have played a cup replay during the week previous to the games against us, i'm sure it's to give us a false sense of hope, but maybe just maybe if its a Tuesday night game (in the snow) we'll come out on top.

Hopefully Craig will get injured before then as NH won't seem to drop him.

Gregory will be back and match fit. We'll always concede but as long as we score one more than them and all that. Missing Gregory badly at the moment.

Can't we just toss a coin for the win and save all the agro/pain?

    Heads or tails @MillwallFan ?
  • With Russell's mentality this one has 0-0 written all over it.

Clearly you've not seen our current form
  • do we have any idea on when this could be played?. can see us having quite a low turn out to this one for a derby if midweek, just due to the agg factor getting kept in after etc.

    Tails never fails

Mate, we've just been beaten at home to Rochdale! We are so so poor at the moment.

At least you are virtually getting head.
