Do you all really think that playing this game on Wed 21 December is any kind of good idea?
Any game on such a night , just before Christmas, will suffer from depressed attendance. Local derbies should be played on dates which maximize attendance, especially in lower divisions, where clubs need the money. Playing this game on that night, in the middle of pre Christmas mayhem, puts an unreasonable burden on police.
But nobody has a word to say against it. Just as nobody said a word when we were asked to play Orient away at 5.20 on New Years Eve so that Sky could show it to about 10 viewers.

You get the football you deserve, people.
Yes I do, as I'm away on the 3rd Dec so would have missed it. And having never witnessed us beat them, I really don't want to potentially miss that 0.0000000001% chance of it finally happening.

But presumably you wouldn't miss it if it was on Boxing Day, which is when such a game should be played? Or are you happy to go to Franchise, so that plod can have a Boxing Day lie in?
No I fully agree with your general point Prague - was just adding my personal selfish perspective. 12 of us going up to watch Rangers on Sat 3rd so for the first time in our lives we wanted Millwall to win tonight, as can't rely on us winning tomorrow.
But yes they local Derbys should be Saturday's (3pm) and over Xmas ideally.
Nailed on 2-0 win for us. Last time we played them midweek away from home in December we won. Those stats show we have too much in our favour. Let's hope it's snows as well.

I think I am still drunk from the session I had before that game!! Happy days!!

Remember you doing your "the price is right, come on down" act. @TelMc32
The prospect of being locked in after the game (for up to an hour), on a cold late December evening is NOT a thing to be taken lightly! As fans, we need to have some information of police/authorities intentions regarding this "prior" to attending.
I rang them this morning, was going to buy over phone but they said it was £2.50 booking fee, so picked up in person instead. Still a couple of Hundred left the young lady said.

Gave up and went to bed in the hope I gain some clarity of thought overnight.
A relatively folorne hope admittedly.
In the style of @ElfsborgAddick
