there are quite a few grab a granny clubs in Birmingham so he will be bashing a few silly0 -
Oh dear, just seen on sky that when Rooney took over Brum they were 6th Now they are 20th hahaha a class manager. Maybe we should see if he’ll come to manage us soon2
-
he increasingly looks like a black clad Michelin man, he also talks like one0
-
Must go down as one of the stupidest managerial decisions in history7
-
Whiff of alcohol being noticed in his vicinity I have heard.0

Were you in the upper west stand today?swords_alive said:Whiff of alcohol being noticed in his vicinity I have heard.7 -
Sacked1
-
Eustace must be loving it - not only the club who screwed him over losing, but also every time Rooney lost, Eustace's stock went up in comparison.3

Yanks dont run football clubs... but if they did!!0

goes to prove that more often than not, a terrific career as a player means that there is a just slim chance of great success as a manager2
-
Had to happen0
-
Let's hope he's already had calls from a club in crisis in Croydon...6
-
13% win record. Possibly the worst managerial appointment since Karel Fraeye.0
-
A bizarre saga, that will surely end Rooney's managerial career in this country0
-
Striking similarities from when they got rid of Rowett and replaced with Zola.5
-
Awful run but I never understand sacking managers after losing games they were never expected to get anything out of anyway. Away to Leeds?!1
-
"Changes that were needed?" You took them from 5th to 20th you daft c**t7

I do see his point here in that he's working with players of whom he didn't sign a single one (he joined in October) so he hasn't even had a single transfer window to sign players to play the way he wants to play.ForeverAddickted said:
But on the flip side of that is the fact they were 6th when he took over, so the players were doing well enough before he came in.3 -
He'll be on Sky soon explaining why other managers are getting it wrong.3
-
Let's hope he's not the only sacking today.2
-
big head, with not a lot in itForeverAddickted said:2 -
Probably more like grannies’ piss.swords_alive said:Whiff of alcohol being noticed in his vicinity I have heard.2 -
If someone had appointed him straight after Derby it would have made a bit of sense - he did OK there in difficult circumstances (though I think it's overstated how well he did and how noble he was staying at a financially struggling club on his massive wages).killerandflash said:A bizarre saga, that will surely end Rooney's managerial career in this country
But given he failed in the MLS since then and most importantly that Birmingham were going well - mad.0 -
Crazy to hire him in the first place but interesting to see the decision makers there realising their error and taking decisive action, over to our lot.......0

I bet it doesn'tkillerandflash said:A bizarre saga, that will surely end Rooney's managerial career in this country4 -
Even his Derby period looks less impressive now, as it seems that Liam Rosenior his coach was a key part of that success, seeing how well he's done at Hull.North Lower Neil said:
