It's obviously been discussed in part on other threads but from what I can see hasn't got its own. How far do you read in to him being at the game on Saturday? Already lined up for Slade's inevitable sacking, in the coming days perhaps. Or perhaps even to unsettle Slade a bit to avoid paying him out if he were to resign.
Edit: just realised this is in Charlton international, probably did it by mistake. Don't know if any mods want to change it.
