Didn't really go out, out when I was there but plenty of decent bars and places to eat in Lausanne. It was quite a few years ago and can't remember names etc.

Yup, when I worked in Germany, this was always mentioned at Xmas.

Worked in Geneva. Beautiful countryside but boring city and mega expensive. Most people I worked with lived across the border in France.

I had clients in Geneva and a few lived over the border in France and had a very short commute. Lovely little town but I found it a bit dead really.

Probably the cleanest place in the world. Don't drop litter. Mind you, if you do, someone will pick it up within seconds.
