Highlight of the Olympics, excluding the GB performances. Two high-jumpers facing a jump-off for gold and silver, being told they're both being awarded gold. The Italian gets ever so slightly emotional... https://twitter.com/BBCSport/status/1421815311817453569
If you hear the conversation, its actually the Qatar jumper asked the official if they could share, to which the official says "it could be possible...", at which point the athletes make the decision for him...
I find it funny that a professional footballer can complain to the ref about something like that. Do they not understand that the ball isnt in the keepers hands so the striker is more than welcome nick it off him?

I am lead to believe that if the keeper is bouncing the ball it is deemed that he is still in control of the ball, which means the striker cannot kick it away. Happy to be corrected if wrong.

If a keeper is dribbling the ball he is in control but can be tackled so doubt that rule.

The clip shows he is bouncing the ball, not dribbling it. Hence my comment. Agree with your point about dribbling the ball

Hmm, I posted the comment without knowing the rule myself but I cant believe a keeper can have no hands on the ball while the ball is in play and a striker cant stick it in the net.. or over the bar 🤣 but also happy to be corrected.
My foreign lip reading skills are also not the best but I'd hazard a guess the ref is saying the striker done nothing wrong apart from his shocking miss.
