RIP. A lot of affection for the old Quo, no frills banging out their tunes and looking like they were having a good time when they got up and played. I spent an age as a kid trying to play 12 bar even half as good as them. Sweet Caroline, Mean Girl, The Piledriver album. Happy memories.
Believe there is a plaque on the wall there to commemorate that event. Up at my grandparents grave at Shooters Hiĺll over Christmas for a tidy up. May leave some flowers there as my brother lives miles away.
One of the first bands I saw in the 70s. Then managed to see them once in each of the next three decades. Unique band. Parfitt and Rossi always displayed great humour. Rick Parfitt, like many others this year, will be sadly missed. RIP.
Never understood the criticism they always looked like a band that enjoyed entertaining people. RIP
Neither could I Ray. Some said they only ever played 3 or 4 chords, which is probably two more than most bands can manage today.
RIP.
It's jealousy from some music fans. They happen to be the most successful band if you measure success by sales and chart success! A lot of bands have tried to copy but none have managed it! Most rock n roll bands don't use more than 3 chords anyway!

Ermmm....'one of the most' would be more accurate Greenie.

Steve shouted 'Francis Rossi you are a legend'.
I said 'Steve. That's Rick Parfett,'
Rick wasn't all all offended. Legend.

I always meant to go and see Quo, and now I never will :-(
Absolutely gutted, RIP Rick, thanks for the music.
2016 can do one.
Very sad loss in what's been a crap year.
RIP Rick
In the words of our Queen, 2016 has been an Annus horribilis
RIP Rick
