that moment still makes me laugh as my dad was so furious with danny mills he tried clambering down the seats to get to him. ended up 2 rows in front having just knocked someone's tea out of their hand. had 15 or so more rows to go to reach the front so wisely decided to end the pursuit there. mills got off lightly.NorthStandUltra said:

It was Danny Mills who got himself deliberately sent off against Hull.....and it was Dec 22nd just before Christmas in order he could have Christmas and New Year with his family.
He honestly didn't give a shit, as he was going back to his loan club (Man City) in early January anyway.
As a consequence, he never took part in any other games for us.
He worked it out to perfection..............the slippery fucker!

Not quite true, he chose us over Spurs when he came to us. We had consistently out performed Spurs in previous season. What got him was we were not a fashionable club and his wife complained she was not getting invites to premiers and the like. Our midfield three including Kishorn and Murphy were outstanding, but we dipped in form and Murphy decided we were too small for his ageing talents. Believe he also complained how low our away following was. Re his sending off against Arsenal on Boxing Day, he was on a yellow card when the ref gave Arsenal a free kick, Murphy had the ball in his hands and threw it down angrily.
The ref construed this to be dissent so gave him a second yellow, don't think Murphy played again.2 -
