    Danny Murphy is a nauseating piece of shit, not quite sure just went wrong when he was with us but it did seem like he had an internal fallout, was ignored by Erikson for an England call-up and the fault was with the club not him -Twat.

    I'm sure he isn't so brash these days after losing nearly £5m investing in poor film investment schemes through an Asset Management company.

    Murphy was hit so badly by the loss that he had to downsize house, sell his sports cars and now relies on punditry work and column writing to make ends meet.

    I'm sure he's paid pretty well by the BBC and by the newspapers and magazines he writes for, but he has nowhere near the cash pile and assets he used to have and I'm sure his retirement won't be as comfortable as he imagined it would be.

    Maybe his missus will have to start taking her drawers off again??

    And to be fair Xabi Alonso (who went on the play for Real and Bayern, won a World Cup and 2 Euros) is better than just about any English midfielder of the last 20 years!
