Was first answer given. Silly woman said 'I know a really obvious one'. Armstrong tried to warn her off saying that the game is not really about obvious answers, but she still went for it. Felt sorry for her mate who was out of the game before she started.

If you've not seen the show it might not make sense but the contestants have 16 words to sort into four groups of four.

Some words, like in this case Hotspur, could be in both the football group or the Shakespeare character group.

4 groups of 4 from the 16 below.
In this case ‘Hotspur’ was the red herring for the football connection.

And you would be correct (although they had tub as 1 of the answers, they allowed tube).

You are too clever for me. I'd have never seen that. I've got three Shakespeare characters, Hotspur, Falstaff and Mistress Quickly but don't know the fourth. I wondered about Joi, but when I googled it, it suggested 'jerk off instructions'. Glad I wasn't at work.
  • Looks like Monday night is Quiz Night in more than just our house then. It's a bit embarrassing at my age that I still get a little frisson whenever we're one of the answers on a quiz show.

I thought it was spelled Chowtern.
  • Charlton as in Bolton, not Charlton as in Carlton.  That's too posh.

    Sheffield Wednesday
