I've completely lost interest in football. Haven't watched any live non Charlton matches this season and have probably only seen a handful in the last three seasons, including the Euros. Leicester gave me a bit of hope last season, but the game I fell in love with doesn't exist any more.
Watch Serie A. In terms of young raw talent coming through playing great tactics and exciting matches it really is the best league to watch at the moment. Napoli especially.
I hope they get relegated - if only to provide a further demonstration of arrogant owners who think they know best and don't understand the concept of loyalty.
It's not a game anymore (not been so for many a year), it's full on business, (don't us sad Addicks know it) his biggest mistake was not breaking up that side, those players won the lottery last season & jolly good luck to them, however I defy anyone who states they can perform @ 100% employment wise after they have won the lottery. His loyalty to the group has resulted in his demise, so what though with his wealth and undeniable achievements he can sup red wine, enjoy a Mediterranean diet, earn huge sums as a pundit & guess what .......life goes on. Winning the league has given them the illusion they are way above the quality of a side battling relegation. On paper they are a mid table side at best.

Chelsea identified Kante as the key Leicester player & nabbed him. Leicester have not been the same team. With smaller teams, take out a key player & the whole team can be much less effective. Leicester lost Heskey at his peak last time & that did for them, Chelsea nabbed Parker of Charlton, it did for Charlton. Modern football is a triumph of the check book. Sacking Ranieri is still a mad decision.

But I'm not completely convinced of that - and if it was down to him, why do they look nailed on for relegation right now? I wonder if he has lost the dressing room because the players feel exactly the same way.

Surely not Pardew. I'm sure he'd get Leicester out of trouble but his record shows the same pattern wherever he's managed: Good start followed by mediocrity culminating in disaster.
