I know BBC are not the best at sport news for the lower clubs, but according to them Bauer is injured and Tex is suspended. Where has that news come from?
Well Teixeira played against Northampton (replaced Bauer at Half-Time) so guess the latter could be injured but cant see how Tex can be suspended as he didnt pick up a booking against Northampton so wont have reached his limit
I saw the same on sky, The following are allegedly not available
Pearce, Bauer, Johnson, Tex, Lennon
If true who plays alongside Konsa?
Options - Solly .. modern day Chris Perry? Jacko? Dijk Steel? Page?
The sky report is from when we were due to play them before when Tex was suspended due to the red card against Millwall.

Have to say, I'm feeling really, really optimistic after reading that. We'll definitely win tonight.
*Obviously that was sarcasm. Never has a man used so many words to say so little, and irritated me so much in the process. Emphatic defeat, Karl blames the potholes in the car park, Brexit and the Trump Administration.

How about blaming the weather. I saw a guy on Arsenal tv blame the weather, can only be a matter of time ha

Knobinson really is a total cockhead - if he had any intelligence he'd just shut the f*** up.
I'm embarrassed by the morons running this club. I hate them.....
We can't keep playing 4-4-2. We're just too open in the midfield, and we don't have an all action box-to-box player who can break up opponents' attacks which you need in that formation.
If I were picking the team tonight, this is what I'd go with. This is assuming Ulvestad is fit to start. He'd been out a couple months and played 90 minutes on Saturday (is that right? All the games blend together for me) so I doubt he'll start again tonight:
I rate Magennis, but something clearly isn't right, and it might be that he's just knackered and not over his ankle injury. I don't trust Novak up front on his own. To be fair to Watt, his only decent performances came when he was up front on his own. That said, it sounded like he might have thrown his toys out on Saturday, so if that's the case, then I'd have Magennis there instead of him.
I still think that's a team that, on paper, should be chasing the playoffs and promotion. Admittedly not everyone has been fit to play together, but it's still a damning indictment of Robinson.
Quotes from KR, "They load the midfield area, they are very offensive and they have a very solid back four." Well thats us finished then because we cant defend and the massive gaps in our midfield means they'll walk straight through our defence. Also said " I believe in Josh Magennis. I believe in Tony Watt. I believe in Lee Novak. I believe in the young players and I believe in the direction this club should be going." He's really struggling for words and since his comments from the Shrewsbury game, everything has been so desperate.

In these times of contention it's not my intention to make things plain I'm looking through mirrors to catch the reflection that can't be mine I'm losing control now I'll just have to slow down a thought or two I can't feel the future and I'm not even certain that there is a past

Weird as this sounds I quite fancy us to win this one. Scunthorpe have the pressure on them despite our plummeting position in the league. 1-0 to Charlton but it will not be pretty.
I'm beginning to think Robinson should select his side based on the Players' Marks thread. Let science guide the way!
4-3 to a stunned Addicks side. Or 3-4 to a revived Scunthorpe side, who's Dawson is the sort of player we are lacking. (I think it was Dawson who took out Holmes in the Check an ejiit dot com Fiascophy).

Just cos you got it right once, doesn't mean it'll be the same again
There will be goals though. I'll go 4-2 either way.
We can't beat the dross of this division so I have no real optimism for this fixture. Even an out of sorts Scunthorpe will find it relatively easy to get their promotion campaign back on track, they are playing a team that can't defend and is in freefall, most teams end their bad runs in various ways against us and I dont think this will be any different 3-0 to Scunthorpe.

Mind you, I'm relieved to hear he believes in Magennis, Novak and Watt - I could not comprehend the existential angst that would otherwise be his lot.

Rudd

Byrne....Aribo.....Holmes

Phillips, Dijksteel, Page, Crofts, Botaka, Magennis, Novak

We're gluttony for punishments, just like the lyrics in the Radiohead song, Just:
You do it to yourself, you do
And that's what really hurts
