Like many others, I was already feeling very shocked and upset at yesterday's awful events. Now finding out that the poor police officer so terribly murdered was one of our own is just heart rending.
RIP Keith, always an Addick.
Nothing but respect and admiration for the work that Keith and his colleagues undertake on our behalf.
With no thought for his own safety, he made the ultimate sacrifice, in order to protect others, and maintain law and order. He was, in the true meaning of the word, a hero. Thank you PC Palmer. My condolences to your family. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
Rest in Peace, Keith. A terrible tragedy for family and friends and so needless. The least we can all do is make sure it wasn't thankless. I hope the club can mark it and give us the opportunity to pay our respects. Heartfelt condolences to all affected.
RIP PC Palmer. No one deserves to go to work and never come home.
When others were running one way, you went directly the other. It sounds like you dedicated a lot of your life to trying to keep those around you safe, and sadly you paid the ultimate price.
Many thoughts with his family, friends and colleagues.
Keith lived his life like so many of us, a fellow human being, family man, local man, a Londoner, and a fellow Addick who no doubt shared in many of the experiences we have collectively had. John Donne said every man's death diminishes us all, but for this brave man it is especially up close, especially personal. I can't begin to imagine what his close family and friends and colleagues are going through. The bell tolls for all of us, but as a fellow Addick through our tears there is also pride. RIP Keith.
Reading these comments has made me well up and I don't do emotion. Keith was a true gent and has died a hero RIP Mate. You'll be sorely missed in our little East Stand huddle

A brave man, doing an ordinarily thankless job, deserving of all the praise he received today.
I hope we will mark his loss from the Charlton family.
