Very disappointing. Unless people buck their ideas up, we'll never get to page 1500Chris_from_Sidcup said:Posts on this thread get less and less frequent by the day. I think most people seem to have given up all hope of a takeover in this transfer window, which means it'll likely now be 5 more months, if at all this season.

Only 17 posts on this thread when I logged on.
Then I knew nothing had happened.

OK the stats are in...
It took us 6 months to get to 100 pages and a further 2 months to get to 200 pages.
It's now taken us 1 month to get to 100 pages since we turned 1000 and further 1 month to get to 200 post 1000.
The conclusion is that we're now posting a lot of guff whereas the initial content seemed informative.
I blame Douchbag.
* The figures may not be totally accurate but i really can't be bothered to go back and check.1 -
It'll happen once no one has posted in this thread for a week.1

This thread needs closing down for a little while I think. There is no information and it’s just silly. I open it to skim through to see if there is anything worthy but nope, just has become a pointless thread.Scoham said:It'll happen once no one has posted in this thread for a week.
Probably best to reopen once we have proper information whether that’s from real sources learning something new or Richard Cawley finding something out for example.2 -
Just had a Twitter notification to say that Curry nights are returning to the Valley ... We’re being bought by the Star of India. Free popadoms all round0

Apologies for asking and maybe it’s really a question just for @NapaAddick but can anyone remind me if we think that if the Aussies are successful in their £37-45m bid for the club (and all property etc.) will they then still owe Stay-Pricks £65m or does that just go away?0

I hate to say it, but it's beginning to look like we are stuck with the greedy, incompetent shitweasel for the foreseeable future, I'm afraid.
Finding it difficult to feel at all positive about CAFC right now

Otherwise the Aussies would be paying £110m2 -
And now the end is near, and it's thread's final curtain0

Please God make it end.1

I too feel as though the Australian take over won’t happen.1

I got all choked up reading this. That has got to be up there in one of the kindest, most understanding letters I've ever read. It's so understanding that I wonder if the CEO has some experience of mental illness in some way. If I got this when I was ill I would genuinely feel supported by something that was a big part of my life. I think it would make me feel there was a point in carrying on.i_b_b_o_r_g said:Ere Rolly, this is what well appointed CEOs do a well run football clubs -

What an amazing gesture from the club"36 -

Just like a dude firework the thread is spluttering to a very poor lifeless end.

Ignore Henry's predictions that the sale will be finalised when we reach page whatever. I have it on good authority that Roly will bugger off when I have received 1000 Lols (I rarely post so this one needs 300 or so).13

In the unlikely event this is true I’ve given you a LOL. Doing my bit.captainbob said:Ignore Henry's predictions that the sale will be finalised when we reach page whatever. The shear audacity of your post got you a LOL captain. Do you understand how much of a prat I have to make of myself on CL to get LOL's? If you did you would understand the sacrifice...captainbob said:Ignore Henry's predictions that the sale will be finalised when we reach page whatever. Th Aussie takeover is not actually a takeover and never has been it was an attempt at a takeover which seems to have failed. No info from either party that suggests otherwise. Utter crap the whole situation, is Duchshat 71 yet? If so one more year to tick off before he hangs up his duck-taped boots.0
