Just catching up with the Friday evening/overnight posts on this thread and was mightily excited to see 5 new pages of posts!! Only to read that its mainly about WIwLB having 'discussions' with everyone who answered his posts, only briefly interrupted with posts about who is buying us!! Lets all move on, please!!!! (not the first time I've said this), the last 5 years have seen fans turn on other fans depending on whether you supported RD, did not support RD, were a protester or a boycotter, or you despised those that were, or indeed the many who were in no camp but decided to find something else to do on a Saturday because we were just a laughing stock of a club!! If we are now under new ownership (or will be by next week), its time to put down a new marker and the fans unite to try and help the team get over the promotion line and show these new owners just what we supporters can do to help the team on the pitch on match days. The time for recriminations and polarised camps should now be a thing of the past and name-calling to cease. Can we at least try? As for Dr Kish, I do know him and he is well connected inside the club, it could be he published his article not from hearing it on here, but after hearing from other 'sources' and may have been asked to take it down until after the deal is complete? I'm not in the know, but it is unlike Dr Kish to publish something and then take it down again, so I would sugest we just wait and see. Which would indicate that The Valley is part of the deal and the charges rollover.
Would also indicate buyer is an idiot and is happy to pay £20-£30mn for the Club with no control of it's most valuable assets, as charges are over all assets of the Club. Which also means buyer cannot raise any finance against said assets without permission or enter into any Leases on assets. Worry if new buyer keeps charges outstanding as this is their best bargaining tool with Roland to get price down.

If you see an owner who you believe is destroying the club you love, it is hard to put money in his pocket. Yes, he may not lose any sleep over your money, but it does have a collective power in reminding him what a failure he is amongst other things. And this may or may not help him decide it isn't worth it in the end.
He never about us before he bought us, got a weekly or monthly report as all owners would from the CEO or MD. Looks at the bottom line every six months not the attendances. At least he has openly put his hands up in open forum and admitted mistakes were made, and I am sure even those who hate him the most he has bank rolled the club and has taken nothing out just kept it afloat as any owner of a football club would have done.

As for admitting mistakes, I've read that he acknowledges he shouldn't have got involved in football, still waiting for him to admit that emailing tactical advice to a former England international was a bad idea, as were virtually all of his signings, his choice of CEO, his chief scout, his managers, etc, etc, etc. Still waiting for the apology for damaging, perhaps irreparably, a 100 plus year old football club. It’s the sheer size and height that gets me every time I go through there. It looks large enough to accomodate the valley, stands as well. How did they manage that without raising the height of the tracks or going below street level ? It never looked that high before.
