can you say anymore on what you're hearing from the Aussies @JamesSeed
Well I’m frustrated by how long it’s taking, but it sounds like technical stuff to do with shifting money and proof of funds around. Disadvantage of consortia possibly. I still expect Dalman to nip in any day now.
Unless the DD hasn't been completed, the offer hasn't been accepted, or there are issues with funds (which is unlikely with Dalman), then why wait? For the Aussies, it has always been felt (and with some justification) that funding was the issue.
Key players are out of contract in 12 days and the transfer market is about to explode. Waiting risks missing opportunities.
I'm a fully signed up member of WIOTOS - anything else is conjecture and I fear we are still a way off from any deal being finalised.

The problem is, every time Gerard gets his ducks in a row, Roland appears on Talksport saying what a terrible investment football is, and half his investors run for the hills.
Bollocks, they will know what they are getting into. They are trying to find the investors and are continually failing.
Arthur Guinness started brewing ales in 1759 at the St. James's Gate Brewery, Dublin. On 31 December 1759, he signed a 9,000 year lease at £45 per annum for the unused brewery.

Come on, how many weeks have you been desperate for this moment?!

The forum that shall not be named have heard Dalman’s takeover will be completed in 10 days to two weeks...
Link?
Tbf to Reams he was right in regards to his info about his journo friend etc. Where he lets himself down is when he gloats and has his snipe comments towards this forum. Worth paying attention to in this instance I would say, especially with his Cardiff links
Don't know what he's gloating about , he doesn't get much right!
Reams does have strong links with Cardiff due to his dad being a legend there. I trust what he says tbh.
I have no idea who Reams is as the only Charlton base media I go on is CL and the office site. Must be John Toshack or if Reams is old now then Ivor Allchurch or John Charles must be the Daddy. If Reams is a 14 year old it might be Craig Bellamy !
Ivor Allchurch! A blast from the past.
Saw him at The Valley alongside his brother Len and John and Mel Charles
Weird, because until then Roland will continue to strip anything he can from the club, so Aribo and Bauer will definitely be off even if Dalman can throw bundles of cash at them

Bowyer suggested two players could be signing new deals, which I’d imagine are JFC and Bauer.
Fair play to Bauer if he takes our 5k a week offer and turns down Blackburn, Preston etc, I'm sure they'd be offering at least double that. Perhaps him having a kid and being settled in London will work in our favour.

Perhaps he can have a takeover clause in his contract, where his basic increases or he can leave with a minimum fee to trigger like Gonez.
At 6:47pm yesterday the same person said Bowyer would sign a 1 year extension tomorrow.
"Tax reasons" = utter bollocks - I don't doubt you were told that but it simply doesn't wash either just the "tax" thing is bollocks or the whole thing is bollocks why anyone would still be making this shit up is incomprehensible - seems like roly's special brand of toxic deluded lies is spreading even to previously cogent sane people
JFC is likely as he has hardly played for a year so won't have too many other offers but Lyle Taylor was already under contact unless he had it extended till 2021 ?
I hope it's Bauer and JFC as Aribo has surely played his last game for Cafc unfortunately.

How can there still be an issue with proof of funds after all this time?

Smashing !!

First rule of the takeover, its never today - maybe tomorrow, maybe 2 weeks, maybe more..
The real issue though is whether there actually is a potential buyer and how close they are if there is.
Mr Murray said it would be done in February 2018
