It's not unusual to see someone have that many directorships, I know of one who has over 1,000. He sets up shell companies ready to go, it's his job, probably the same for this guy, he is a solicitor after all.

I've got a feeling its going to happen today as its my Birthday. I'm 71 today, yes 71 and I don't look it.
Wishing you a very happy birthday John and the news breaks that a new era has begun. Sorry to hear that you look 80 years old but we have all aged since Duchatelet tenure began. We need the green light ASP so please keep all of your numerous fingers crossed. May you have a bootiful birthday.

So, proof and source of funds already provided, assurances given regarding any link with Sheikh Mansour, and the individuals concerned have surely passed the fit and proper test based on their business CVs.
The EFL would appear to have had all the information they required by close of play Tuesday. Why the f*cking delay????

One would hope they have been ticking things off as they've gone along - interviews (check), proof of funds (check), business plan (check) and so on - with the link with Mansour being the last one.
