Thank god that lot have gone, lets hope the stain that has been on our club, will be consigned to the past, and we get back our Charlton. Can only hope that the connection between fans and club are rebuilt to what they once were. Great bit of news for the new year.2

There are 7 Emirates in the UAE. Dubai is one of them and probably the most well known. Abu Dhabi is another emirate, it's also the capital of the UAE and it's where our guys are based.Alwaysneil said:
Don’t think we are owned by Dubai. If I remember (and I do because I just checked with google) there are several (google says 7) states in the united Arab Emirates and Dubai is the main city of one (not ours) and Abu Dhabi is the second largest capital of the second state.mendonca said:Out of interest.....what are the registered owners of other football clubs owned by Dubai based ownership?0 -

Brilliant news - Rooney starts for Derby. Even on the channel showing tonight’s cafc match, that’s all they are talking about!
In all seriousness - regardless of tonights result, today is a great day to be a Charlton fan. The rat has gone (good riddance). I’m looking forward to seeing how it pans out with ESI - by what they have said so far, I am optimistic.5 -

Bloody weird. I’ve got the sound down atm and keep checking I’ve got the right channel on as all the coverage is Rooney/Derby/Barnsley. Keep waiting for Matt to pop up with an interviewMrkinski said:Brilliant news - Rooney starts for Derby. Even on the channel showing tonight’s cafc match, that’s all they are talking about!

This year I even posted on CL I would do the same and now on only the second of January I am going to fail. Driven to drink by a Middle Eastern consortium seems a little ironic to me.
Get in. Delighted. Of the 4 who gave up their season tickets 2.5 years ago, 5 are coming back... We have picked up an extra!3 -
Owners need to show their metal now. Relegation beckons.1
