Right. In a meeting until 3. There best be something announced when I'm out....cantersaddick said:So I have a fairly quiet week at work, currently after one big project and before the start of the next one. Was really hoping there would be some news now so that I could sit and read Cl at my leisure. Come on. Don't let me down.

Que Sera Sera
Whatever will be will be
It could happen in February*
Que Sera Sera
* This does not constitute a binding contract, promise nor is it a statement of fact but February rhymes and March and April don't. "Could" does not mean the same as "will". Timescales can shift. Please refer to the official Charlton Athletic website for confirmation.22 -

So they could be in League One next season with £35m of 'parachute payments'?2

I believe so.Addickted said:So they could be in League One next season with £35m of 'parachute payments'?
Next season could be much harder in league one than this season.
Hopefully it won't effect us1 -

Easier said that done.
I lay across the bed.
Mr F pulled- I pushed.
But to no avail.
TBH, it was easier giving birth 40+ years ago.
What should have been a sprint became a marathon.....bit like this feckin Takeover.
We tried vaseline. We tried butter. We tried cooking oil.
Nada.
Totally exhausted, defeat was finally admitted & the decision made to sleep on it.
So, this morning, after much soul searching & lengthy deliberation, Fanny went under the knife. or rather, scissors.
And following a harrowing operation when certain parts of Fanny's anatomy were in severe danger, the job was done. (NB Please don't mention Brazil )
Much has been sacrificed by many in the hours spent on this ever disappointing thread.
But, lest we forget.....
Fanny came very close to giving her all.
RIP hot pants.
What the fuck did I just read
FFS !
Don't you recognise the latest episode in the 50 Shaves of Fanny series ?????
Fixed that for you.

there is more than one consortium still under consideration so not sure how it could be a done deal, whatever twist is put on that term - neither of these r red bull or red henrys lot - this is fact, from one of my sources although the info is a few days old nowJamesSeed said:

That's rich coming from u - I provide facts on here and u instantly dismiss coz there not the same as those you believe - stop sniping is something you could take on board - I can confirm that when airman said it was a done deal a few weeks ago, it wasn't but I guess we can all work that out - once again, that does not mean I'm calling him out, just that he and his source are wrongkentaddick said:People shooting the messenger is even more boring than waiting for the messenger.
Take a couple of hours off charlton life and enjoy your life.
I suspect that we (and I'm including you) don't know that it's not a done deal, defining 'done deal' as an agreement rather than a resolution of the deal.
It could be a 'done deal' but there are legal formalities to go through.
It might have been a 'done deal' but other potential bidders have re-entered the fray, causing Roly to backpedal on the 'done deal'.
It might have been a 'done deal' but Roly changed his mind.
It could be any of a number of other possible post 'done deal' scenarios.
The other possibility is that AB has been let down by two separate sources.
I'm quite enjoying the ride either way.3 -
still think its a few weeks away...........saw a programme about Julius Caesar the other night & the Ides of March was mentioned a few times (15th for the uninitiated)
That is about as tenuous as any other ITK poster has given.0 -
