And if the takeover couldn't be more doomed - we reached page 666 on Friday 13th...
I'll have you know 13 is my lucky number and I once owned a car with 666 in the number plate (true).

Unfortunately the car was always going wrong had to sell it on in the end cost me a fortune.

Hmm maybe there is more to this 666 scenario.

Half a dozen Spaniards in crossbars taking pictures of the ground, I asked if they were buying the club and the bemused look I received tells me not!!!!

Will the trust give Murray another easy ride at the next meet?
Clearly talking out of his backside.

No point in asking Richard as he can only tell us what Rolly wants him to say. The demand should be for Rolly to make a statement.
More chance of knitting fog. When was the last time he made any kind of meaningful statement about Charlton? As I and several others have said before, unlike us poor saps, I doubt he spares two minutes per week thinking about 'de cloob' - it's all in the hands of his lawyers. He will sell when he's ready and not before. We just have to sit back and remain patient - and of course fill these pages with endless speculation, it's what we do!
But protests were stopped on the words of Murray allegedly.
Not true. The Jan 20th protest was called to demand Murray spoke to fans and called off when he agreed to do so.

The Easter Monday protest was called off because the change of management removed the consensus among fans that it was the right thing to do.

Roland is a tight, mad old bstard and is wanting more - through add ons etc... than they are willing to pay.

I think you have 100% nailed the issue... now what we were back in top 6 (or sniffing around it) he wants add ons. If that is what is causing the holdup, I am quite happy losing all our remaining matches this season 3-0 each so that issue is removed from the table. Hope for Roland is depression for fans.
  • This is not going to end well.

I can tell you I called it worst than that, especially when the prop shaft shattered. It was a Lotus Elan SE S4 back in 71.

Nope. The signs aren't good. Even @Redhenry has gone underground.

    Same as previous.

Still the Aussies out in front and may be, but not in any way guaranteed, before the end of the season.

I have little optimism about the future of the club right now.

I can honestly see us in this crappy division next year with the same crappy, deluded owner demanding a selling price that only a lunatic would agree to pay.

    Not good.

So no news from anyone about the takeover heard today?
Elsewhere it has been muted that the takeover was dependent on promotion from this poxy league and if it doesn't happen (which I now believe it won't) RD will have to drop his price substantially (which i also believe he won't). That leaves us in the shite in my opinion, if RD still owns us in the summer, he will use the potential 'sale' of the club as an excuse not to buy any players or renew any expensive contracts. We could be stuck in this league for a long, long time yet.....well all the time RD is in charge.

Agree with everything you say except the division we will be in if the rat is in charge for another season, only one way we will be going and it's not up.

We may make the whole season without any progress, end it with the same owner, and not even had the satisfaction of a protest or even lobbing the odd plastic pig. Dismal times.

Losses on Tuesday and at Pompey could virtually confirm we’ll be in league 1 next season, could push it through.

He may well sell when he is ready, our job is to help him be ready.

Crisp crackeley tenners to Rot seems a good way forward.

Should the takeover fall through and RD remains next season does anyone think he may spend to get us up as this is the only way he’s going to get remotely close to what he wants

We knew the club would not be the same
Few people laughed, few people cried
    Most people were silent
I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita
Vishnu is trying to persuade the Duchebag that he should do his duty and sell the club
And to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says
"Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."
I suppose we all thought that, one way or another

More like it will give us the impetus & the will to protest again at the game against Blackburn. We will have a week to organise it & the EFL can go fuck themselves if it means an abandoment of the game as I for one will be up for a pitch invasion & a sit down protest.

Lots of suits in the director's box. Some accompanied by RM. Only rumour I heard was that RD is not selling until the division we are in is confirmed.

Agree. He'd have to spend millions this moving his asking price up.

If he stays expect the club to be liquidated over time.

And once its confirmed we are in Division 3 next season, I can see any potental buyers revising their offer downwards to reflect this. I fear we will go through the Summer and at least the start of next season with the old scrote still at the helm.

Good. Hope we lose the next few games then. Fuck promotion. I just want RD out!

If Roland is still here over the summer I really don't think we'll be stuck in this league much longer...!
