A campaign of getting as many people as possible to spoil their ballot paper to show lack of support for any of the candidates would be great.

The vote is simple on june 9th do you want May, Corbyn, Farron, as your pm... I hate the tories but which one makes a better pm. I cant remember a worse set of politicians in my lifetime.

When you put it that way, anything other than a Conservative vote is insane unless you get someone like Ummuna to assassinate Corbyn (probably literally given the grip he has on the labour party) and then take leadership. Then you have something of a competition.

But no smart Labour politician would want it this time round, which is why you get no marks like Corbyn in the first place, because no one of credit wanted to blow their one shot putting their hat in the ring against him in the past 2 leadership elections..
Sadly thats how i see it...as others have said although those smug gits dodgy dave and his sidekick bent Osborne have gone, its the wolf behind sheeps clothing May worries me.

The vote is really not about May, Corbyn or Farron as PM.

Your vote only really counts in a marginal seat. Elsewhere it is only important for the media commentary, maybe a soft influence on future policy.

Even if you are in a marginal seat, you will be voting for your MP, best not to vote for a complete arsehole just because they are a part of your preferred party or the party your preferred PM leads (and god what a shit choice that is at the moment).

My vote is usually wasted as i cant recall ever voting for someone as my constituency is usually tory, even when i lived in Scotland.

I don't always agree with you, rarely in fact, but on this you have my total agreement.

The Conservatives were first out of the block with a full manifesto on their website. That makes me think they might have been planning the election for longer than Theresa May has said.

If I am honest, I think there's some surprisingly interesting stuff in there.

Exactly, so many different party names, it makes it confusing, at least if you hate the Jews you can cut out all the confusion and just vote Labour eh?

Johnny Disco of the Official Monster Raving Loony party is standing in the Manchester Gorton by-election on 9 May. His pre-ecletion statement includes:

In the event of the by-election in Gorton going ahead I promise that the Loony Party will fix all issues and problems in Gorton and surrounding area within my three weeks in Parliament.

...adn they're using the hashtag #mpforaweek

Surely the stuff about gay marriage causing floods and stopping aid to 'bongo bongo land' will put many off voting UKIP, even if they want to vote against the main parties.
