"The supporter award was won by my brother who himself hasn't missed a game in years. In my run which now stands at 924 he has only missed 1 game in all that time. That was an evening home game with Blackburn back in November 1999 when he had a flu like cold. He stands on 844."
Those of you unable to see the presenting of the award missed a tearful Katrien hugging Olly and thanking him profusely for all his loyalty to the club. She also presented him with a handwritten letter from Roland expressing his admiration for Olly and the club and asking what is was actually like to watch Charlton in person. Olly was then wrestled to the ground by an overzealous steward as he walked off.

Bet he is gutted he missed that game now, but could not have foreseen how many more games he would go to after that.
They both started together, after around 79 games Ollie missed one and his consecutive record started from 0.
