It seems that KR and his signings are much like RD and his managers thus far - taken from a very select pool of people that they have normally worked with before. There is a lot to be said for working with people you trust but in the world of sport it makes you somewhat predictable.

Yeah I get it to a certain degree, for example Reeves looks a very tidy player, Martin is available on a free. But we seem to be linked with half their team which finished in mid table. Powell never struck me as anything special. Darren Potter is definitely good at this level, but in JJ and Crofts we already have two central midfielders 32+. Admittedly these are just rumors, so we shouldn't put too much weight into it, but right now it all feels a bit scattergun.
Whilst I've got no faith in the regime to manage signings, or KR to manage the team with any degree of skill or integrity, some of these MK rumours smacks of lazy journalism and agents playing silly buggers. It's just all a bit to easy to link a player to their former manager at a crisis club that likes cheap players.
We'll probably sign one or two (my guess is Martin and Reeves) but that's not necessarily unreasonable given the predicted turnover (yet again) and what we will "need".
always liked Daniel Powell from our league 1 winning season. He was class at The Valley. He played as the right hand forward in a front 3 if I remember correctly. Would be a great signing.

next years team will be made up of older league 1/2 players or loans from other clubs and academy players.

made up - like most posts on here. 99% of posters on here know no more than you or I & just like to post something to let others believe that they are ITK.
But we have 6 (SIX!) strikers already and a threadbare midfield. Surely Ajose, Igor, Novak and/or Watt must be moved on first.
Why move them on first? Novak is fine as a backup striker in this league, Magennis will be first choice, and we've already shown we're totally fine with loaning out players, I'm sure Watt, Ajose and Vetokele will find new homes, though we'll keep one of them IMO

With KR wanting to play one up top I can see him keeping Magennis and Novak. Bringing it 1 more who can play as a lonely striker and keeping KAG incase he wants to go 2 up top late in the game.

We haven't signed Henderson yet.
It's a juggling act as at every club to move on the players you don't want and get the ones you do. I'm sure they will be trying to shift the expensive players from last season and the year before and the year before that but it's early days yet.
“I’m going to see out my playing career here because I love the place so much. I love the North West and there are so many factors determining my stay here – the football, the management staff, the player and the fans. I also want to settle in the North West so I’m extremely happy.”

Let's hope our signings aren't all MK Dons rejects (or network numpties)

Got to say there are a lot of targets drawn up by Karl Robinson. So doesn't mean that it is definitely going to happen.
