Not a number 10, a holding midfielder with an engine. Decent player, not brilliant from what I've seen. I would have had him in January. Now, I'm a little meh. Right now in that position we have Crofts, JJ, Konsa, and JFC, plus maybe Dijksteel coming on. Is Carruthers drastically better than them? I don't think so, no. Has a better engine than Crofts, possibly the most like-for-like. I'm not a huge Crofts fan, but I'm also not convinced paying money for a player younger and only marginally better is the answer here.

Never played higher than L2.

Never played for MKD, but was born in MK so that's good enough to have him linked with us!

We're in the second week of May ffs. Other than Ched Evans I've seen no signings whatsoever.

I think we should try and sign Obika from Swindon. Quite liked him in his first spell here, and would offer more than Novak I'm sure

Not played in the first team all season, or been out on loan. L1 might well be his level until he can prove he can do it consistently for a whole season

dont think he's the sort of striker who could help us get promoted. As we probably won't anyway, expect him to be a target.

For comparison in 2011 we signed Hollands and Pritchard on 24th May.

point is though that Robinson said two last week, reported as many as six before the end of the month, so he has set himself up for this. Expect departures before arrivals myself.

just saying that KR said in his interview after the Swindon game that there were 2 players in the stands watching the game & he was hoping to tie up a deal for at least one of them that week.

I'm now expecting an announcement 5 mins before they announce that Holmes is off.............for an undisclosed fee of course.

But we have 6 (SIX!) strikers already and a threadbare midfield. Surely Ajose, Igor, Novak and/or Watt must be moved on first.

Why move them on first? Novak is fine as a backup striker in this league, Magennis will be first choice, and we've already shown we're totally fine with loaning out players, I'm sure Watt, Ajose and Vetokele will find new homes, though we'll keep one of them IMO

Not if you want to win anything he isn't.

George Williams, been on loan at MK Dons from Fulham. Some sites call him a midfielder, others a forward.

Not to be confused with the other George Williams at MK Dons, who is a defender.

Are there any MKD or ex-MKD players we've not been linked with, apart from Dele Ali, Benik Afobe & Will Grigg ?
(better known as the good ones).

The building work at the training ground is actually the construction of several roundabouts to make all the MKD people feel at home
