Anyway as pointed out he's had four months to decide, we have had four months to sort out a deal with him/his agent, thus has been made public to draw out other suitors from the Championship. I think the chances of him actually signing are very slim.
I find it interesting that our plan to upgrade the squad for promotion seems to consist of raiding a team that came only one point above us this season.

Agents are trying to spark up intrest in players they represent, and linking them to a move to an ex manager is a good as it has some credibility.
The Reeves one is completely differant because we know we were after him in January. He is just the sort of player we need to sign. Obviously his agent is just having a last pitch to clubs in the Championship and if nothing comes from it he will hopefully sign.
Getting him in should help us secure Holmes and help persuade other targets to come.

I know KR overdoes it at times, but if that's what I was quoted, assuming I didn't understand what a false economy the transfers market is in England, then I'd be really upset as well. This is why teams, increasingly even in League One it seems, take a punt on foreign players.

Maybe Robbo was miffed that we offered a bit of compensation for the balance of his contract and they came back with something silly? Where were these championship clubs back in Jan? Were they in the mix? Could MKD have overplayed their hand and now get nothing? Or has Reeves played a better hand and got himself a decent signing on fee?

Charlton boss Karl Robinson signed Williams on-loan at MK Dons last season, but his spell was cut short due to limited playing time.
