For some reason I don't think Martin will be the keeper just as if he was wouldn't he be in by now ??
From Ketts at Dr Kish:
Perhaps most intriguing is the goalkeeping situation. David Martin was thought to be joining the club, but this is another deal that has dragged on. Robinson's, "With the goalkeeper we know who we want, we are just waiting for the opportunity," comment, suggests that he may now be looking elsewhere.
I'm sure Reeves will have a number of offers on the table. Seems certain he's not staying at MK but that's a long way off thinking he's coming to us.
Not sure who said it but "when it's on the OS"
Heard from a solid source he was at The Valley yesterday
Wasnt there an article the other month saying he'd been around Sparrows Lane already
Sparrows Lane to look around the training possibilities, the valley to sign the contract. The only issue with that is Chris Parkes is on holiday at the moment
He must have just gone, as he was at Sparrows Lane commenting on the new fixtures.
Alan Nixon from the Daily Mirror, seems like the rumours could be true.
Very non-comital however , doesn't sound like a fresh bit of news from Nixons end
Agree
That Reeves has been given a number at MK Dons is a red herring. We haven't given Roger Johnson a number either as in both cases their contracts are about to expire.
Does'n't mean Reeves isn't coming or that he is. Shall just have to wait until the signing is mentioned on some sort of club social media platform
"His eye for goal and previous prolific record have prompted enquiries from Blackburn Rovers and, another of his former clubs, Bury already this summer but news of his potential call-up has also alerted Cypriot sides AEK Larnaca and Apoel Nicosia. Both clubs are keen to take a potential national team player for their domestic and European campaigns."

An unexpected callup. If he stays then potentially that's another player missing for international breaks or causing a postponement

Indeed - that would make a third call-up (with Magennis and Konsa), giving us an option to postpone matches. I think that someone on here and/or Doctor Kish helpfully posted the games potentially affected. I think there were three or four in all.
Apparently Jordan Turnbull had a relegation clause for Coventry and is now a free agent. Apparently we are looking at him. Would he be a good defensive addition?
Don't see us buying a centre back or striker until / unless players in the same positions leave first I.e. Tex,Sarr and/or Ajose,Vetokele,Novak (or possibly Watt if he doesn't prove his fitness).
Even if Tex leaves we will still have four good centre backs, so unless one of them is off we don't need another and was not one of the positions Robbo mentioned.
Sounds to me like an agent trying to bump up the deal.

I can't see Konsa commanding the same sort of fee that Gomes and Lookman did by any stretch but all the time Duchatelet picks up a sizeable fee each season he might feel that his plans are taking shape. I doubt he ever thought it would all come together in less than five years.
This to me is more of a concern than Ezri actually leaving.
If we get 8 mill for Konsa and sign all the players we need for promotion, I would be happy.
We won't get £8m for Konza seeing as we got less than that upfront for Lookman, a striker.
And Robinson was given just 400k of that to spend despite promotion still being a possibility in January (as Millwall who were within one point of us at the time proved).
I think Konsa is a good young player. But at this stage I'm not even sure if he's ready to play for a top half championship side , let alone a EPL side.

But then again, you know this regime.
More rehashing, but good to read all the same.

It would hardly be a surprise if a player in an England world cup winning squad playing in league one was on the radar of richer clubs.
Reads life a space filler to me.
