Least it made the Sprint a bit more interesting... I've never known them to be dominated by one rider so badly... Cav was good in his prime with HTC but he always had the likes of Greipel and Hushovd to make his life difficult
Kittel is having an easy ride here because Cav is injured | Demare was eliminated and Greipel is just shite now

Indeed, losing Sagan hasn't helped either. Annoying that so many others are out when there is so much opportunity for sprinters this year

I'm honestly not even blaming Kittel here as its not his fault no one can rival him.
Going by previous years where the opening Stage has been a sprint day (so that Cav could get the Yellow Jersey) its almost as though they've created this Tour route for him to break the Merckx record, it just went pear shaped with the illness and injury he's picked up.
What's the record for most stage wins in one tour? Kittel could well rival it
Eight...
Pélissier (1930) | Merckx (1970 | 1974) | Maertens (1976) are the three guys to have won that many in one Tour
Kittel now has 14-wins overall and at 29 (just three years younger than Cavendish) its doubtful he'll break Merckx record himself - In 2009; Cavendish won six stages in one year so Kittel is closing in on that as there are three flat stages left.
Not the greatest cycling fan but got hold of a couple of massive fantastic looking Froome autographed framed prints a few months ago, so should get a decent price for them if he wins again Come on Froome!
Whoops... One of the SKY Riders ahead of Froome forgot to turn and rode straight into a group of Motorhomes parked up (managed to get through the gap), both Froome and Aru followed him but those two only just left the road and were quickly back on

Mclay 5th and Swift 9th for those who keep an eye out for GB riders.

On the 50th Anniversary of Tom Simpson's death be great if he can win today
At the moment can only think that Aru is going to try and win the stage at the death and so get the 10sec bonus!!
Or has he given it to him?
