That's good news but it feels like they are releasing news now to gloss over the lack of New signings.

Or they are just releasing news like they always do!

Just remembered this is going to be a big season for Josh...

Usually he's one of the first picked by Northern Ireland yet with the World Cup coming up next year (and with Northern Ireland on course to reach the Play-Off's) we'll hopefully get him fully focused, just hope if they do qualify that come March / April he doesnt do a Reza and put his World Cup hopes ahead of potential promotion and so do his best not to get injured.

Magennis needs to start scoring when it matters .. yes. he's whole hearted and gives his all etc, but he's paid to score goals and so far he has not done that often enough .. let's hope that this season he'll get a decent striking partner and better service from midfield

not been the same since his injury last season.

In a 4-2-3-1 system, he won't have a striking partner

However, the 3 behind him should also be providing significant numbers of goals and assists. Indeed many of the best players in the world are in those sort of positions, with the No 9 being as much a link/target man as the main goal scorer

So we're having to give brand new contracts to players we signed one summer ago to try and keep them, brilliant.

So we criticise for putting players on contracts that are to long and then only two year contracts, what would you have posted if we gave him a four your contract and was a flop and couldn't get him off the wage bill in which meant we had to loan him out every season or sell at a loss. Unbelievable.
bloody hell, I find myself agreeing with WIWLB. A first time for everything I suppose.
