Old Woolwich Shirt - TOREX GIULIO

I brought an old away shirt from Classic Football Shirts and it has the name 'TOREX GIULIO' on the back. The shirt is from 91-92, so before they started printing names on the back of shirts. I don't remember having a sponsor on the back either. Anyone have any ideas?

I've emailed them to question its authenticity. Would seem odd to put so much hard work in to making a good counterfeit to add ‘TOREX GIULIO’ on the back. See the pictures attached.

Ive got two of the shirts mentioned and neither have a sponsor on the back...its probably just been screen printed on by a private individual at some point. I just hope you didnt pay top dollar for it. A mint one is worth over 100 quid.

I'm 99% certain that those match worn shirts had embroidered badges and Admiral logos, along with football league badges on the arms.

If I have time tonight I will try and dig out my match worn ones and upload a photo for comparison

Wasn't cheap, but nowhere near £100. The company I got it from are very good, i have already emailed them.

My dad during his dementia decided to chuck all mine, home any away from 89/90 through to about 95

Spotted a home and away jersey from 1989/90 at around £100 each, apparently in mint condition. Very tempted, but not sure how likely it is that they will be genuine.

I would be pretty surprised if someone's out there knocking out snide 1980's replica Charlton shirts, doesn't seem like the most lucrative business.
