CRYSTAL PALACE HAVE SCORED A GOAL

But there were plenty of Shelvey tracking back instances being shown before Lampard had his two penneth worth. It's only because one resulted on the second goal that he highlighted it
Are you saying you wouldn't have a Le Tissier in your team? Or a Hoddle?1 -
Not at all - but Hoddle did tend to do more defending than Le Tissier who got out of breath trying to stay onside. You had to build a team round Le Tissier and not many top clubs are prepared to do that.Addickted said:But there were plenty of Shelvey tracking back instances being shown before Lampard had his two penneth worth. What I am saying is that if Shelvey wants to become a top midfielder like De Brueyne or Silva or Gerard or Lampard then he has to do the hard yards for 90 minutes -
because it is the times when he didn't that Bournemouth scored.0 -
I am looking after my nephews today, the oldest one has got Fifa 2018 on his console, he likes to pick random teams to use in game, first one today is Palarse, annoying but I can live with it until just as the game is starting one of the pre recorded commentary lines pipes up saying something similar to "lots of notable clubs north of the thames, not so many south of it but Crystal Palace are the pride of South London"
I know it is just a stupid game but still, sell the f*** up Roland so we can have an ambitious owner and put them back in their place to bring an end to all this nonsense.3 -
Swansea are doing their duty at the moment.
Win for Southampton against Stoke would be helpful too0 -
Currently 3rd from bottom as things stand.1

West Ham only 3 points above the drop zone as well...ForeverAddickted said:Swansea are doing their duty at the moment.

As it stands Swansea go above palarse and West ham0

Probably best if Southampton beat Stoke today.
Had 65% of the play according to the BBC. Please turn it into a goal.0 -
I don't mind who wins, as that means 3 points for Palace's rivals instead of a shared 2 if they drawFortune 82nd Minute said:Probably best if Southampton beat Stoke today.

Not that I'm over thinking things0 -

Swansea win 4-1
Wednesday lose 4-0
Sacking Carvalhal looks a dubious decision!4 -
Thought it was a dubious decision from the off when you look at the Wednesday injuries at the momentkillerandflash said:Swansea win 4-1

His replacement though does seem the typical Meire (clueless) type2 - Sponsored links:

I don't think anyone is safe at the moment until they actually reach 40 points (or so). If Brighton lost today they'd still only be 4 points above Stoke and PalaceForeverAddickted said:2 -
Brighton moving nicely clear of Palace.
Palace play them on 14/4. Would be great if Brighton relegate them on that day.7 -
I think I know a song they can sing if they do relegate them that day...Fortune 82nd Minute said:Brighton moving nicely clear of Palace.

Bournemouth, Watford, Brighton, Leicester and Huddersfield not at all easy all playing better recently.
Last 2 tho is Stoke and West Brom1 -
3 of Palace's next 4 games are against "Big 5" rivals, but the crunch match is probably their trip to Huddersfield on the 17th, a real 6 pointer0

Followed by a rousing chorus of "we'll never play you again"letthegoodtimesroll said:

One of the all time highlights of my charlton supporting life when we did that at Sellout in 20005 -
If they lose to Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool - which they should; then Huddersfield and Bournemouth will be huge, get one point from them and they should be reasonably adrift with 5 to go.
Still reckon they will beat one of the big teams plus Huddersfield and Bournemouth and be well out of it but it is nice to dream...0
