  • According to The Cricket Paper. England's current bowling coach, Chris Silverwood, has been lined up to take over from Bayliss when he leaves next year.

An impressive season with Essex certainly in the CC

    Oh yeah, just like this:
  • I think that Nasser has said he has no intention of ever taking the England job and wishes to remain as a pundit - that's a shame, because he would be the obvious choice. Other than Nass, Atherton,Vaughan are the only ones that sprint to mind that appear savvy enough but it seems they are also clever enough to know to swerve from the poisoned chalice.

So who do you want to replace him Riv ?

    You new on here?

Nasser Hussain, as I've been saying for years!
Doh. Yeah I do recall the odd mention of his name.
  • So, with Bayliss going, does that mean Farbrace too?
  • Looking at the ODI and 20/20 batting line up - it looks very strong...

    Roy
    Bairstow
    Hales
    Root
    Morgan
    Stokes
    Buttler
    Ali/Billings
  • Just let Clueliss and Fartface concentrate on WBC and get a proper coach/manager in for Test cricket. We have different captains for different forms of international cricket so surely we should have different management too.
