Until I was so viciously criticised for my match thread intro, I was gonna offer to stay up and bold highlight all the post match views from those that were there.

AFKA's attack and Nick Gray putting the boot in have put pay to that. Get old crab stick to do it instead

    2 points dropped, from commentary should of been out of sight, never heard that before have we, really starting to see the affect of not getting a striker in. Matches without josh will be fun :smile:

    For those there did there tosser of a chairman oppose any flags being put up tonight as last year it upset Katrien when a Roland out one went up, so he made the police remove it, for that reason only Walsall can eternally fuck off and are hopefully involved in a relegation scrap.

    Fair result really... We dominated for 30mins but wasted possesion in favour of shooting from distance, each time wasting the good work done getting into those positions

    Then Walsall started themselves and reckon had we gotten to HT at 1-0 we'd have probably won but we didnt and the whole of the second half was dominated by Walsall - Holmes scored a wonder goal which should have gotten us three points but Walsall proved why they cant be beaten at the moment

    Don't agree. First 35ish minutes we were very good with the interchange between Fosu, Mag, and Holmes. BWP or Ajose wouldn't be caught dead doing that.     From the stats, the game was pretty even but if we had gone 2 up when we were on top, maybe Walsall would have found it harder to come back?

    But we have to do something about our defence, that's 14 goals we've let in now. We've actually scored more goals than Shrewsbury this season, but let in twice as many goals. Scunthorpe have let in only 3 goals (Crofts on the bench for them tonight, Novak came off the bench as they few 0-0 at Gillingham)

    Most teams, whether it be premiership or Sunday league are fired up after a goal especially near full time, "still 0-0 lads", "come on lads keep it tight see it out", not us, fuckin pathetic that.

    And as for that bench, hideous, KR pretending to us he's happy with that squad what a puppet.

    Only Charlton could put me in such a mood, wankers.

    ph just to confirm I felt KAG was ineffectual and I would have rather had Dodoo on with Mag or even kept Clarke on as even tired he has more class than any of our other potential 10's.

    Fosu, Konsa, Amos, and JFC all deserved to be on the winning side tonight. All four were very good in different ways.

    Didn't take our chances first half, lost concentration twice, conceded twice. Two important things to note, Gillespie had a worldie of a save onto the post to keep Mag out at 1-0, and their second was a 25-yard curler into the top corner.

    We started so well because we played a high line that was about ten yards inside our own half. Having Konsa, with his pace and his ability on the ball, allows us to do that. But we fell into old bad habits of sitting too deep. And when we do that, we allow ourselves to get pulled out of position. We must, must, must work on our defensive shape when defending deep. And we need to get much better at defending shots and crosses from 25-30 yards from goal. We need some Roy Hodgson at Fulham style repetitive drilling on defensive shape and dropping deep.

    I don't know what happened to Solly. He was awful. His 1-v-1 defending, normally his hallmark, was terrible. They played 1-2s so easily to get in behind him. Whenever he had the ball he looked scared and either lumped it long or just played fizzing balls roughly at JFC.

    Lastly, we need to learn how to defend with the ball. When we get it, especially in midfield, we look to get it forward far too quickly. As a result we end up doing a lot of running, a lot of chasing, and give the ball away too cheaply at times--and we tire ourselves out, and that's part of how we end up dropping so deep. We try to play with such a high tempo, which at times is good, but we need to learn how to put our foot on the ball and make the other team chase. We have players with the ability to have 55-60% possession--especially with Konsa in there, who is very good on the ball. Doing that will let us rest our legs, which in turn will help us pressing and keeping a higher line. Plus, opposition can't score without the football.

    Listened to the commentary and to be honest we sounded pretty awful for most of the second half.

    Gutted tbh but 2-2 was the least Warsaw deserved.
