I know this wouldn't pass the Chirpy test either, but Art Rupe, the man who founded the Specialty Record label (Little Richard, Lloyd Price, Larry Williams) is 103...
Warren Buffett - the famous US multi-billionaire investor is 91 in August.
He hasn't said when he will retire from Berkshire Hathaway but has named Greg Abel as his replacement as CEO. Buffett's Vice Chairman is Charlie Monger (another multi-billionaire); he is still working at 97.

Smart move to appoint an older, more experienced man as his vice chairman.
Know he's been mentioned already but Just watched "Burt Bacharach - A Life in Music" - still going strong at 93. Imagine what we might have missed out on had his mother not made him have piano lessons!
Heartwarming story on the radio this morning about Tony Bennett who has suffered dementia for some years.
Close family and friends - including Lady Gaga who has been his singing partner rolling out the old standards - thought it would be great to give him one last concert. They booked a 6,000 seat venue (I think it was Radio City Music Hall) - and the concert was a raging success. When Lady Gaga came on he greeted her LADY GAGA who he hadn’t been able to name for ages.

Famous for having a classification of degree named after him but, more seriously and importantly, also for his distinguished work campaigning against apartheid and for the United Nations.

Sussex and England wicket keeper born 21 October 1931.
For the youngsters Jim Parks (in contention alongside the late John Murray of Middlesex) was the predecessor of Alan Knott in the England test team during the sixties before he (Knotty) made the wicket keeping slot his own in the late sixties through to Kerry Packer in 1977 and then beyond. Parks generally got the nod as his batting was of such a standard that he could almost have played as a specialist batsman.
His father, James, also played for Sussex and England and his son, Bobby played first class cricket for Hampshire for many years and briefly for Kent too.
Boxing promoter Bob Arum is 90 today. His first big promotion was Muhammad Ali v George Chavalu and he subsequently promoted 27 Ali fights, also Marvin Hagler, Manny Paquiau, Roberto Duran and many others. He’s still going and his company Top Rank have world championship boxing at Maddison Square Garden this weekend.
Former England opening batsman and Wisden Player of the Year. On the basis of those credentials alone I'm sure Riviera would have allowed him to be added to the list!
