Well 675 fans turning up. You do know the team won't be, don't you ? Can not see KR making any effort to extend this seasons cup run.0

Well done to all those who wanted tickets got them.... You wont ever go again.2

Went last season & going on sunday. Nothing to do with ticking grounds off, its called supporting your team & seeing if we can get into the 3rd round. Royally p***sses me off when come the 3rd (or 4th round) and we get Arsenal away, suddenly a few more than 675 will want a ticket.DA9 said:

Understand where you're coming from, golfie but what's the point of going to a match if you know you won't be able to see what's happening on the pitch ?
It's an expensive enough time of year already, but throwing away your hard earned in this manner is one step too far IMHO.
That's apart from the petrol money, match tickets costs and spending most of Sunday travelling / listening to our taller friends relating what's going on .
As Mr F was barely out of the theatre for last season's league game, I also missed the dubious pleasure of the Ladies' loo at the ground which I understand was not pretty ....9 -
If we have Dodoo, KAG and Reeco as out attackers, that might not be a bad thing!Fanny Fanackapan said:Understand where you're coming from, golfie but what's the point of going to a match if you know you won't be able to see what's happening on the pitch ?

I'm fairly confident that we would all get tickets to a 3rd round away day at the Emirates.golfaddick said:

Well said fanny... For me to go it will cost me £300 in lost wages plus another 12 hours leave and another 60-80 £ on the day... All to look at the back of someones head...Fanny Fanackapan said:Understand where you're coming from, golfie but what's the point of going to a match if you know you won't be able to see what's happening on the pitch ?

Christ on a bike..........what did we do 30 years ago when ALL the grounds had terraces & we ALL stood up (apart from the directors). Funny that when we HAVE to sit down nobody fecking wants to...........Gillingham this season I was sitting 2 rows from the front in the upper tier & had to stand as there were at least 20 people standing on the gangway in front of me. Just can't win.Chippycafc said:

Given KR’s history with Dons I would have thought he’ll be putting out as strong a side as he can?RaplhMilne said:Well 675 fans turning up. You do know the team won't be, don't you ? Can not see KR making any effort to extend this seasons cup run.

Well he’s never failed to get to round 3 of the Cup, and he said at city addicks he would like to as it gives us the chance of a big game, hopefully he puts out a strong side, as we aren’t going to get autos and win tonight and we have a v good cushion in playoff positions2

.
I like to think he’s telling the players we want to win by 6 or more goals...Oh_Yoni_Boy said:

Oh I definitely want us to win, but what I mean is that I don't think his judgement will be affected by his individual relationship with AFC Wimbledon fans.letthegoodtimesroll said:.

I hope we put out our strongest side and stuff them as well.0 -
When we HAD to stand, at least there was the option of moving when some 'big bugger' came to stand in front of you a minute before kick off. Now you are stuck in your seat and sadly destined to stand for 94 plus minutes at away games. Gillingham was a fiasco all round, people standing in all stairways/walkways. The 'pleasures'of away travel to local games!golfaddick said:

Your choice, and fair play to you. I vowed, walking away from there, the banner, the view, the facilities, and the day after, with the groundsmans comments, that I would never step foot in that ground again, regardless of the game.golfaddick said:

This. I’ve never had a problem getting a decent view of the game when we were all standing watching the game and I’m only 6’1” tall...Chippycafc said:How many of the local loyal make thatr commitment

It's standing with no chance of seeing a ball kicked.
Anyway, 30 years ago, Mr F would have happily sat me on his shoulders.....2
