Come on CAFC. We are all much more savvy now than we were 25 years ago. Balloon releases are reported as being bad for the environment. It's really not a good idea. Don't you also have to inform someone these days re aircraft and we are close to LCY? @Ollywozere can't you have a word and get this binned? It's not a good look.

The club released balloons 4 years ago to celebrate 21 years back home. Don't remember an outrage then but to be fair I never knew about the link above.

If it was so much of any issue, would the relevant authorities not allow it in the first place?

Different world these days! Sometimes not for the better either.
