    The CARD balloons were not released into the atmosphere, unlike the one that the the Club proposed to release which would have been filled with gas.

    *press release** After close consultation with the fans the balloon release was cancelled for environmental reasons. The owner and the board would like to publicly thank the Red Arrows for stepping in at late notice to help us celebrate 25 years Back at The Valley. ;)

    Seems a lot of people congratulations Charlton on the twitter thread. I imagine 0.00% of the people praising Charlton will actively start putting finances into the club.

    It's a shame people complaining didn't provide an alternative to releasing balloons.
