The woman remains a joke. I am just glad she is now at a club I don't much like. I look forward to a catch up with a Sheff Wed fan on the school run about last night's events.

Oh dear... all looks very familiar - is that a powerpoint I can see in the picture on the first page? Talk of fan sofa, coming for more than just the football.

When will she learn! Also sounds like the owner has put the club up for sale post the fans forum, lets hope KM isn't looking for a job any time soon!

Had a brief flick through that thread on owlstalk last night.
She was referred to as “the club wrecker from Charlton” and the chairman come out with something like “your money doesn’t cover anything” when speaking about ticket prices.

'Improving the matchday experience' is a term that reminds me of someone building their part, especially if they disassociate themselves from the football side. I mean, whats left after that? Make sure the beers are delivered, the grubs in place and the club shop is open. Jeez how hard can it be?

I have little interest in Ms Meire. The concern I do have with is the nature of the investors in football today, notably their total lack of understanding of the market and in particular the choices they make in selecting their advisors.

Ms Meire was allegedly a prior acquaintance of Amadeu Paixao, maybe through the Morgan Fox transfer.

One Sheffield Wednesday journalist chose to publish this article.

    https://footballtyper.wordpress.com/2018/03/05/under-the-influence/

I found it an interesting article especially in light of the SWFC Fans Forum and their challenges with FFP.

I will leave you to draw your own conclusions.

PS. It is now reported Mr Chansiri has put the club up for sale

No doubt he’ll sell them before than RD sells us.

I've never liked Sheffield Wednesday for the way they acted when we won League One; i.e. they felt it should have been their title despite only stealing second spot in the last few weeks of the season

But regardless of that a good non-local derby fan rivalry has come out of it which has created some good games between the two clubs, certainly felt sorry for them when Meire went up there, and now!! - God reading through that Fans Forum thread (Only on Pg.20) they might as well join us and Blackpool behind the picket lines against the Football League!!

Confirmed on BBC that He has put the club up for sale today.

Wonder what price he wants for a championship side with average crowds of almost 24k.

Apparently there is interest from an Australian consortium.
What with links to a grandson of an ex-Sheffield Wednesday player? :-)

Sounds like Wednesday will be getting a DJ & a fan sofa imminently

"We want to get fans to come to the club not just for the football".

Farcking hell! You've really not learned a thing have you?!

Looking forward very much to seeing this objective successfully achieved once again, when the Wednesday fans start coming to the club "not just for the football" but also for the pre and post-match protests against her and her boss.

Has she still got some sort of role at the FA/EFL? I might stop watching football soon, it's f*#ked at the moment.
It's absolutely mental mate. The 'Match day experience' is determined by the quality of the football on the pitch and results. A good example is what's happening now at Charlton. Obviously, I understand many are in the not a penny more camp and won't come back until RD leaves. However, I'm happy, because we're WINNING, and the team have an identity. Now, I couldn't give a flying f*** about my seat, what music is being played at half time, the quality of the food on offer or the price. I think the majority of fans feel the same way.

Of course, reasonably priced and decent food is important, but if the food was at an astronomical price and tasted shit, I just wouldn't buy it, nor would I moan or care about it too much.

Now if the quality of the football on the pitch was shit and results are terrible, then this will affect my match day experience and I will moan about it. Because, and if she doesn't get this, she shouldn't be in football, the ultimate thing that will determine whether a fan goes home happy at 5pm on a sat eve will be 3pts.

Balloons, pop, sweets, pies, heroin, films, garage, socialising, dancing, lectures, TED talks, Royal Processions, Celebrity death matches, orgies, caviar, new shoes, a haircut, a discount on office space, a brazilian, figs, a steam & sauna, financial advice, funeral planning, a new car or a 10 year subscription to the latest Apple i-Phone will not make a blind bit of difference.

She needs to get out of football. It's just not for her
    Well said Sue...
