  • The subs at start of second half  worked well we had a threat. They do need to improve their finishing must have missed 3  goals when the goal was open.
Also learn not answer back to the ref.
Well done for a hard fought win.
  • I will never understand what Hills sees in Muya
I thought she was the best outfield player in the first half. Covered a lot of ground and went past several Palace players.

  • 770 in the crowd according to the website article. Not bad by the standards of recent history, but playing Palace on an international weekend I'd have hoped for more than that. The away section looked to have about 150 in it, at a very rough estimate,

Lots of missed opportunities I think. Club pushing Millwall game hard with emails etc but didn’t even back stuff on about today’s game on the end

Also getting to the ground difficult today. Limited train services, no tube to the O2, Greenwich roads closed between 6 am and 4pm for some damned half marathon.
  • Always good to beat Palace!!
  • Kenney looked very lively when she came on, good pedigree.
Think we may have a team with a bit of magic/spark this year!
  • Decent highlights including brief interviews. Better than we get for the men!

  • Keeper looks decent. That is important.
  • Chuffed with that win

Such a big year. I hope they do it.

True! Though they missed Mary McAteer's header off the bar just before we scored.

They showed the challenge that earned Katie Bradley her first booking, which looks pretty soft to me. Still a bit silly to take so long over a free kick when you know you're on a yellow, mind.
  • Interview with Emma Bissell on the BBC London Women's Football Show (from 23.15)

The delay was down to Karen the manager. She was giving her instructions to slow it down.

  • Happy Lauren Briggs cuts inside and plays a ball through our defence Day everyone
  • First 15 and we're all over them so far

  • We look particularly dangerous from corners
  • 1-0 Durham, woeful defending
  • 1 down as they've grown into the game
  • Cracking long range effort from Newsham there
  • Wonder if we have the two loudest coaches on the touchline in the Champ and WSL2
  • Flannery booked on the stroke of HT. Game has been very bitty since the goal
  • Not a great sign when our RB has had our two best shots of the match
  • LCL getting battered 4-0 so far at home against Man United
  • Muya, Bissell and Ross off for Fitzgerdald, McAteer and Chime
  • Who is Chime? Not seen her mentioned anywhere before
