Palace and Newcastle currently 0-0. Could really do with that ending in a draw after today's result.0
-
Guessing this is the mentallity going into Palace vs Newcastle

Finished 0-0. Best possible result for us. Down to 4 points needed for promotion now.4
-
Or just win at Palace next week and wrap it up.4

you know it is not the Charlton way....4 -
Maximum points for the rest of the top 5:
47 Birmingham
44 Palace
43 Newcastle
42 Bristol
We have the toughest run-in, Palace then Southampton then Birmingham. But both Birmingham and Newcastle still have to play Bristol who are still in the mix for the play-off so might do us a favour. Other than those games I'm not sure any of our rivals are going to be dropping points so we have to assume we're going to need the 4 points from 3 games.

Just do not lose to Palace , Birmingham Southampton. that would give Birmingham a maximum of 45pts, Palace 42 pts, and us 44pts.Swindon_Addick said:

29 Mar: Crystal Palace, away, 2pm. At Selhurst Park. £15 adult, £5 under-16. Tickets from here. Block B in the main stand is the away section.
5 Apr: Liverpool, home, 2.30pm. FA Cup quarter final. At the Valley. £10 adult, £8 over-65, £2 under-18. Tickets from usual website.
12 Apr: International break. England play Spain at Wembley (7pm ko) on 14 April.
19 Apr: International break. England play Iceland in Reykjavik (5.30pm ko) on 18 April.
26 Apr: Southampton, away, 2pm. At St Mary's. Tickets not on sale yet.
For the FA Cup game, Liverpool have been given the front half of block H, with us having the rest of West Lower. From their website they look to have sold 240 so far. At a rough guess it looks like maybe 700 to 800 seats taken in the home part of the stand.
Anyone intending to go to Southampton, be warned you need to download their app onto your phone to buy tickets from them. They're charging £10 for tickets to the one game they have on sale, but that's at Eastleigh and we're at St Mary's so it may be more. Would be nice if we could buy tickets via Charlton for that one to save downloading an app and then deleting it after the game, but I'm not optimistic.0 -
Palace is basically a must-not-lose game. Avoid defeat there and we'll be ok, lose and it's squeaky bum time.Swindon_Addick said:

Would also be nice if Bristol City can get something against Birmingham which kicks off at the same time as our game at Palace.2 -

New deal until 2027. Not sure that's "long term" as the club are claiming but it's good news

Still a lot of seats available in the Charlton zone for this Sunday's game.

I’m really sorry to be missing the FA Cup match as we’re away on a trip in Scotland. But it is probably a blessing as I have seen Charlton (albeit men) lose eight quarter finals. Good luck for Karen and the women!!4

Just had an email about the launch of a new / official WSL Football app - download from the App Store. Covers WSL, WSL2 and the League Cup.1

My plans for coming over to see any football are all up in the air because I’m keeping my trips to see my sister once she’s better. It’s killing me not seeing live football 😫1 -
Sending big hugs @KBslittlesis 🥰
For anyone leaving Sunday to the last minute, this is info direct from the oppo ticket office:

I promise I'm not trying to tempt fate - as I said above, I'm really nervous about tomorrow! - but looking at the table, am I right in saying that if we win, we're promoted?
Palace wouldn't be able to catch us (12 points behind, 3 games left), and even if Newcastle and Bristol City win their games they'd be too far behind to catch us as well (10 and 11 points behind respectively, 3 games left).0 -
Yes you’re right, other than The Valley it would be the best place to do itEpsomAddick said:I promise I'm not trying to tempt fate - as I said above, I'm really nervous about tomorrow! - but looking at the table, am I right in saying that if we win, we're promoted?

Does anyone know whether you can park in the ground for the Liverpool game next week and whether we can book parking in advance? I'm seeing lots of parking options for men's games but nothing for the women's game. Thanks0
-
Probably best to email fans@cafc.co.uk with that question. There should be plenty of parking on local streets on a Sunday.blackheathaddick said:Does anyone know whether you can park in the ground for the Liverpool game next week and whether we can book parking in advance? Any idea how many fans we'll have there tomorrow? I am going to go along. Would be great to have a decent turnout.EpsomAddick said:I promise I'm not trying to tempt fate - as I said above, I'm really nervous about tomorrow! - but looking at the table, am I right in saying that if we win, we're promoted?

£20 to park at the ground according to the website.blackheathaddick said:Does anyone know whether you can park in the ground for the Liverpool game next week and whether we can book parking in advance? I'm seeing lots of parking options for men's games but nothing for the women's game. Thanks
Street parking is allowed on Sundays.0 -
Really hard to say. We'll all be together in Block B, so however many of us there are, we can make some noise.9goalswentpastperry said:Any idea how many fans we'll have there tomorrow? I am going to go along. Would be great to have a decent turnout.1 -
There's about 300 seats unavailable on the Palace ticket site. Some of those will be reserved for players' friends and family and might not be actually booked for anyone, but it seems safe to guess at 200 to 300, plus however many decide to pay on the day. Plenty still available if anyone wants to go and hasn't bought one yet.9goalswentpastperry said:
