Of the list we were in negotiations with N'Dow is probably the only one you'd want starting most WSL games, maybe Newsham but obviously she's out long term. Kenney might kick on is still pretty new to the English game
I like the look of Kenney. (in a footballing sense I hasten to add being old enough to be her grandfather).

As I understand it 9 players are now under contract for next season. 2 keepers.

There is a pre season game at Chatham Town on the 19th. Tickets are now on sale.

Will there be enough players to play the game? The management needs to get busy and players signed.

Obviously not an ideal scenario but they’d just use PGA players for a friendly if needed

There have been changes to the coaching staff but not announced.

Just an example of how the website fails the women's team.

I understand there should be announcements this week prior to match at Chatham Town on Sunday.

Tickets for the game are just £4 on the Chats website.

Just as an indication of what we'll be up against this season, in addition to London City Lionesses splashing the cash in the way we're used to, Birmingham have signed Millie Turner and Palace have signed Bethany England. I'm not necessarily expecting us to be in the market for current or past Lionesses, but if we aren't looking for players with WSL or similar pedigree then we'll find it very difficult.

The fact that the LCL have signed Mapi Leon to play alongside Putellas, that's like Sunderland going out and getting someone like Marquinhos and João Neves on frees from PSG this summer

We can not compete with the other teams in the wsl1,  they have vastly more finances than us, must hope we can just hang in there.

Diani to LCL as well, rumoured to be for more than 500k which in women's football is huge

Money from the mens budget will be peanuts in this league.

It isn't money from the men's budget. The owners have a budget for the women's team including some from the WSL TV deal.

I just wonder how long something like LCL lasts until the owner is wanting any kind of caps on investment taken off.

Fingers crossed N'Dow is next, she's paramount to any success we have next year, unless we're somehow replacing her with Le Tissier or Williamson or someone else crazy

Pedersen signs a one-year deal too - very happy to have her as backup for Whitehouse based on her performances in the cups last season.

11 players contracted including 2 keepers. Nobody new.

Elisha N'Dow had one or both knees strapped for every game last season yet played out of her skin. Here's hoping she can continue.

    Game on Sunday.

Slightly confusing as she already had a contract for the new season.

I now understand that the WSL wants all players to have a new standard contract which has better protection for them.

Another one signing tonight, Kenney perhaps based on hair length?
