    Good news, though I didn't know it was necessary as the club said she was still under contract in the squad update at the end of the season (which was incorrect, because having checked, she signed a one-year deal last summer).

    Maybe she’d already signed the new deal? Clutching at straws I know. The comms really are poor

    Maybe, but given they announced the new contract for Whitehouse before the season ended, they could have done the same for Lobato if she had already signed a new deal. Agree that comms are still really poor.

    Newsham is probably out for the whole season. Only right to give her a contract to recover from the serious injuries.

    A really interesting signing. Young and has Spanish youth caps, but yet to make an appearance in England. I expect a lot of our signings will be a bit of a gamble, but this feels like a potentially exciting one.

    I have no idea how the Liga F and WSL compare but from her stats she looks like a decent dribbler who makes a good defensive contribution. Wonder if she’ll be turned into a wing back

    Good. The advantage of Not Millwall moving at light speed is that they will have decent players hanging around who they want to move on. Partido will have to be good to be able to perform in the WSL but she seems like a player we’ve done well to get hold of

    N'Dow looking less likely now if we've moved onto new players not players signing contracts. 

    Another reason of course is she could be holding out to see who we sign

    Wonder when the last time we had three senior keepers on the books was?

    That’s interesting, there’s nothing on social media about the keeper and that link doesn’t go anywhere. Wonder if they’ve jumped the gun a bit there. Given that we signed Pedersen up I hope it doesn’t mean anything for Whitehouse. 

    Happy with Johnston on potentially a 3 year deal, all these one year extensions are nice but they’re not building us up for next year. Let’s be honest, if we see two wins this season we’ll have done fairly well so having an eye on establishing ourselves for the future is essential
