Well the four who pinched the taxi prove that Footballers arent really the brightest bunch.
Apparently the vehicle was found outside the 5* Hotel where they're staying... Being such a top hotel, there will surely be CCTV footage to show the incident.
Bit like stealing a car and parking it on your drive without making any modifications
The players broke a midnight curfew by at least 5 hours as well, a shocking lack of professionalism really, and a sign of the lack of respect to the club, fans and above all the manager
They were all in the taxi when the driver got out to go to a shop or something. While he was gone they decided to drive back to their hotel without him. The big question for me was that it was 5.30 in the morning. And to think we go mad on here when some of our players have a night out in Blackpool.
It seems 4 WBA players got p***ed up on warm weather training in Spain and stole a taxi. Good to old big nose keep a grip on discipline!
Maybe he was otherwise engaged and so unable to keep an eye on his players.
You’re right of course but it’s Pardew so it’s funny. On a more serious note breaking the curfew, aside from the following shenanigans, does demonstrate a total lack of respect towards Pardew. The players are old enough to know better and it doesn’t look good for their survival hopes. It’ll be interesting to see how Mr Ego deals with this.

Not good.
Wouldnt it be more appropriate to apologise for actually stealing one?
And isnt it TWOC rather than stealing?
They're footballers, remember.

Until now.
Utterly shameful and a sign they are doomed.
One of these
yearsmillennia the same thing will happen to us!I'd like to think I'll do stuff like that when I retire at 75.
Can't see how Pardew can be held accountable for the behaviour of grown men acting like pilchards. He's not an Akela on a Cub camp.
