    The Valley Club and Floodlights so about 1968.   Just look at the working cranes along The Thames.

    That Worthington sign have photo of that dated Aug 1970.

    Had the groundsman just reseeded the turf roof? Maybe camouflage to fool the Luftwaffe? If so it didn't work.

    Kick off moved to 2.45pm from 3.00pm due to fuel cuts. Temperature at KO was minus 3 centigrade #cafc were winning 1 - 0 thru' Brian Kinsey when the game was abandoned. Re-arranged game was played 18 May when won 2 - 1 with a late Cliff Durandt long range shot

    it looked dangerously overcrowded. We'll never know exactly how many were there, I've seen 68000 to near 90000 quoted.
