Not many teams left I can tolerate. I'd probably support the Brewers if it werent' or Ryan Braun. Not only is he a cheat but hes a lying cheat who threw the guy who transferred his sample under the bus. I wouldn't mind seeing Chase Utley win another ring before he retires. Maybe the Rockies. I like Arenado.

Feel the same about Milwaukee and Braun. Saw them play the White Sox a couple times earlier this season and they looked real good. And I remember Craig Counsell from his playing days as a real gritty pro. But I'd just hate to see Braun win anything.
Glad to see the Dodgers made it through against the Braves but I think we have our work cut out against the Brewers. Astros v Red Sox should be a cracking series with Astros slight favourites for me. Don't know why but I have a sneaky feeling that the Brewers will win it all.
As others have said, the Astros just look a bit too good for the Redsox at the mo. The Boston bullpen really didn’t look good in games 1 and 4 against the yanks and went close to throwing both of those games away. If Kimbrel finds his mojo I’d feel a bit more confident. My prediction: Astros win in 6
Also as mentioned above, I don’t see the Dodgers getting past the Brewers either. The Brewers have really hit form at the right time. 11 games in a row. That kind of run just breeds more confidence. I think they’ll win comfortably. My prediction: Brewers win in 5
Yeeessss! Well, shows how much I know! Red Sox into the WS by beating the Astros in 5. Astros looked so good in the sweep over the Indians and the first game against Boston, but the Sox really stepped up in the last 4 games, including tonight where David Price, who seemingly couldn’t buy a win, beat the seemingly unbeatable Verlander. Excellent!
They now have the luxury of an extra couple of days rest while they watch the Brewers and Dodgers fight for the right to play them.
Well nobody in Boston really thought they would get there, really until today. The pitching hasn’t been that good until the last few games. Everyone believed the bullpen would blow games at the end, but instead they shut them down.
Now let’s see the NL go to 7 games, and everything should be set up for them.

So much for the Astros being the favourites as i thought as well. Hope the Dodgers can make it through tonight but can either them or the Brewers beat the Red Sox? Looks very unlikely.
Delighted that the Dodgers made it through last night but we're definitely underdogs against the Red Sox although the betting is closer that i expected. Heart says Dodgers can win it in 7, head says likely Red Sox win in 5 or 6. Should be a good one, come on Dodgers!

As has been said before, the Redsox bullpen is capable of shutting down any team, but is also capable of throwing games. (We got away with it against the Yanks). I think it may rest on which version of the bullpen turns up. Another issue is that when they play in LA, Boston will have to bench JD, Mookie, Bradley or Benintendi unless they play Mookie at 2nd base. You don’t really want to drop any of those 4 and a non-specialist 2nd baseman is never a good idea. Could be crucial.
I fancy the Redsox to win though, and the extra couple of days rest may turn out to be the ultimate deciding factor.
If we can get 2 good starts out of Kershaw and young Bueler is as good as he was in Game 7 against the Brewers then we're not without a chance although I fancy we need to pinch at least one of the first 2 at Fenway as I doubt we can win all 3 in LA. The problem is stopping the Red Sox hitting which seems to go all the way down the line up. In theory not having the DH in LA should help us, but the AL teams generally seem to overcome that OK.
Red Sox bullpen, pretty much the one supposed weak point of this team, has been brilliant so far in this series. Kelly, Eovaldi, Kimbrel all lights out
La Russa in the front office, Kelly in the bullpen. They owe it all to the Cards ;0)
Closest the Cards are getting to the world series or even the play-offs in recent years : - (
About time we got some value from that trade. You got Lackey who will still top drawer - and we got Allen Craig who sunk out of existence faster than the Titanic.
Pleased to see the Dodgers got one back last night although at 18 innings and 7 hours plus don't think I would have lasted through it. Kinsler should really have made the play to get Puig and put the Red Sox 3 games up so I'd like to think it might be a turning point but somehow I doubt it. If we win again tonight however things do start to get interesting.
It was good baseball, but far too long to be enjoyable. I watched to the end, but only out of sheer bloody mindedness! I hope I’m wrong, but that game might be pivotal. The Dodgers couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome - won the game and the Redsox burned one of their starting pitchers. Eovaldi didn’t really do anything wrong - he actually pitched well - but Boston will be wondering how they used up two starting pitchers, (both of whom pitched great, giving up only one run each), yet still managed to lose. They’re still favourites, but that result has made it interesting.
The Redsox fan in me is disappointed. The baseball fan in me is glad it’s not looking all over already!

Top two teams in both divisions in the championship series.
Red Sox beat the Yankees which will always please the people of New England.
Still fancy the Astros to win it all.
But I agree - the Astros look a cut above and I am not sure we will get past them....

If so: Astros to beat Brewers in the WS in 7

Get in!

Price finally kills off his demons and wins the heart of Boston tonight
Devers realises his potential
JBJ an MVP - wouldn’t have guessed that back in May when he couldn’t buy a run and was batting .100
Best outfield potentially ever?!
Bring on more sleepless nights next week!
I thought the Astros would win it too.
Really good article on what Craig Counsell did the other night.
Looking forward to this.
Come on you RedSox!
Kershaw v Sale should be one for the ages as long as Sale is fully over the shits
