It seems the Ruskies are infiltrating not just the routers of business and commerce, but also our home hubs. They are not so interested in whether Charlton play with one or two up front, but rather more in using our collective space to cause damage.
I know it’s possible to change the password of the home hub - something not strictly speaking recommended, but would it help in making things more secure?

All of these devices are gathering data on the users and sending it back to big brother on a mega server somewhere. When the servers get hacked by the Russians and all the data stolen they will all be on Ebay for a tenner.

I have changed the router name and password on every router I have had.
Make sure your passwords are random and contain at least 12 characters (inc upper case, lower case, symbol and numbers) and you should be fine
Major hospitals in London have declared a critical incident after a cyber-attack led to operations being cancelled and emergency patients being diverted elsewhere.
It applies to hospitals partnered with Synnovis - a provider of pathology services.
King’s College Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’ - including the Royal Brompton and the Evelina London Children’s Hospital - and primary care services are among those affected.
The NHS said emergency care continued to be available.
GP services across Bexley, Greenwich, Lewisham, Bromley, Southwark and Lambeth boroughs have also been affected.

I eventually booked it on the 30th May for next Thursday June 13th - the first available. Then last Thursday I received an email saying it was cancelled. I can only imagine the chaos with the delay, backlog and new requests. Gawd knows when I'll get the bloody thing - pardon the pun

On top of that the GP won't or can't submit me for an xray as "nothing is broken" and it's for the physio to do the xray referral.
As a working age adult im having to think of going private for this. I will try to persuade a different doctor to at least refer me for an xray at next appointment in 2 weeks time.

An appeal has been launched for O blood-type donors to book appointments across the country following the ransomware attack affecting major London hospitals.
The IT attack means the affected hospitals cannot currently match patients' blood at the same frequency as usual.

A gang of cyber criminals causing huge disruption to multiple London hospitals has published sensitive data stolen from an NHS blood testing company.
Qilin has been trying to extort money from NHS provider Synnovis since they hacked the firm on 3 June.
The gang previously told the BBC they would be publishing the data unless they got paid.
Overnight on Thursday they shared almost 400GB of the private information on their darknet site and Telegram channel.
The data includes patient names, dates of birth, NHS numbers and descriptions of blood tests. It is not known if test results are also in the data.
